:frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

So after my car spent a total of 51 days at the dealership for an intermittent start issue, I now have the whole underbody of the car coated in oil. When i received my finally "fixed" car this past friday, the technician had left a connector leading to the fuse box unplugged, missing screws on battery compartment and a banged up front bumper. Now this...

I walked out this morning and noticed oil all over my driveway.
It's mostly towards the driver side from front to rear, but heck even my rear bumper has oil on it.

I purchased the car brand new mid october after trading in my ecoboost. Have had it for a total of 3 weeks max in my driveway since then. :headbonk:

I would have it towed back to dealer to be safe.

It sounds like you need a different dealership...

Always sad to hear these stories though, sucks the fun out of owning the car I'm sure.

Thought so too, but checked already and its on there tight. Car hasn't even seen it's first oil change. It's right at 900 miles.

It's definitely been rough. I was enjoying the car for the tiny bit before issues started popping up. Then it's been a stressful past two months that I have had to coordinate with graduating college, work, and dropping it off at dealership constantly.

It takes one hell of a leak to get oil on the rear lower control arms.
Oil is all over the rear bumper... yes on the outside (license plate, deck lid , even up by the factory spoiler)

Loose oil filter maybe. Or bad gasket/double gasketed oil filter

And people wonder why I will only take my car to the dealership if it is blown up on the side of the road. I feel for ya. Makes you want to shove a wrench up the entire shops ass. Probably had several techs fiddle with your car.
That just sucks big time. Shame on that dealership and Ford.

Thanks to everyone,

You guys were on the right track. Dealer called and said the mess was caused by a pinhole on the oil filter. Said I must have hit something but they would call it even on that one... ok? lol

Service manager is trying to make things right. Replaced the missing screws from battery compartment and is looking over at the scuffed bumper.

I see, under no circumstances, how you could hit your oil filter on anything without first ripping out the K-member.
