Has anyone fitted headers with a Borla S Type cat back system?

I have just had a set of Hurricane Headers installed, mated up to the Borla and it is now way too loud and raspy. I liked the sound before, but now, it would wake the dead :eyebulge:

Any ideas on how to quiet it down without changing the Borla and get back to where I was? ..........................and NO, I don't want to remove the Headers :D

Yeah there’s a few that have. Vogtland Mustang. The borla resonator will probably be your best bet.

I’m running the corsa xtreme and looking at adding 2 (or probably more) vibrant resonators into the system when I do headers. Might be something to look at to tame the rasp, not sure exactly how effective they will be for volume, but I will find out at some point

^^ You might have to put the Borla Touring resonator in.
I was looking at this, the only problem with the touring resonator is the 2.25 inch inlet, makes it a bit hard with a 2.5 inch system. Not sure if you can change the inlet on touring resonator to 2.5 inch?

I’ve got the Streetfighter headers, and a Borla touring with resonator....

Had to have a couple of custom pieces made up to join the headers to the resonator

Sounds great. I've got the Borla touring cat back myself. I will need to consider the headers.

If these are catless headers, I would advise adding cats if possible.
