One of the first reviews on tire rack for the Pilot 4S says they turned into "hockey pucks" in the cold.

Again, I'll just feel better with the all seasons vs. chancing anything with the summer only.

Thanks
I drove my pilot 4s in 15 degree weather and they did just fine. Just got to be mindful that the traction will be worse, but they were fine.

I went for a ride in a friends supercharged car with MPSS on it, held great even at WOT in ~25F weather. I was impressed. cpelaez1

Are the DWS06 the consensus for an all-season replacement for the P-Zeros?

~$900 for a replacement is pricey, but is it worth it over other cheaper tires?
That's what I'll be getting. Walmart and Tire Rack are only a buck or two different in price on them.

However, I'm not sure which 19 is optimal for the SVE Drift wheels I plan on getting. I have walmart (online) suggesting one size, Tire Rack another, and then my Ford service center yet another....

...what specific DWS 06 did ya'll go with size-wise?

Thanks!

I'd recommend 275/40R19 if you never plan on lowering the car (even with a mild drop), 285/35R19 if you do ever plan to. 285/35R19 are wider but as short as your front PP tires. The speedo would be off just a little bit.

I run 275/35R19 summers on my Drifts currently. Will replace with 285/35R19 when they're done.

Unless lowering yields some sort of significant performance increase, no real desire to.

Thanks for chiming in!

Michelin states not to drive on them under 40 degrees, and if the temps drop to 20 or below to warm them to 40 degrees to prevent damage.

Even at 15 degrees though, they were probably more stable than PZeros.

Mild lowering with a very moderate (<5% increase) spring rate increase does definitely improve handling. The lower CG is very noticeable, and looks great! Happy to offer my thoughts in PM if you want.

Well, it wasn't by choice. Typically I'll swap my stock all seasons on, but couldn't this time around.

It rarely gets that cold here in Tx anyway. I doubt I hurt the tires any.

Look into Michelin Pilot A/S 3+ also. Bit more expensive but I really like mine.

P Zeros are a garbage tire first or all.

I run Nokian Hakka R2s in the winter living in North Dakota and Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s

Best money ive spent on this car so far is taking the junk pzeros off and buying proper tires for the seasons.

1 size fits all? No such thing in North Dakota in the winter Nokians or walk and for damn sure wouldn't on P Zeros!
