Anyone running a Green Filter? I don't know the measurements of the stock paper filter offhand and haven't had a chance to pull it off the car and measure.

Anyone already measured it and bought one?

I have my filter off. The inner diameter of the filter's connecting side is 5 1/2" The length is 9" and the tip of the filter is 5" in diameter.

I replaced my stock filter with the ford motorsport (made by airraid) filter. I did not see a green filter specifically for the gt350 at the time.

They don't make one specifically, but they make a range of different sized cone filters.

They have a size chart so you can find the correct filter for your application.

http://www.greenfilterusa.com/find-filter-cone-cylinder.php

Based on a 5.5" inlet diameter, the filter I linked above looks like it should fit. However, the green filter is an inch and a half shorter than the stock yellow paper filter.

I'm wondering if this is enough a difference in filter surface area to have a noticeable impact on airflow, or if the Green Filter allows for a higher rate of airflow through the filter material to offset any potential reduction.

I have never heard of said company, how do they compare to K&N, S&B, Airaid, etc?

I have never really believed the hype, I can see a little better flow, but not as much as they say. I like them because I can clean and reuse over many years vs. throwing stuff away.

When I had my GT500 I had a Steeda blue filter that was shorter than the stock. I did not notice any difference in performance air flow wise.

These guys are big in europe. Like the K&N of Europe. Go to a car show and see green filters everywhere. I was going to get a blue airaid but I may try one of these simply because of the price point. 68$ is pretty nice.

I've ordered the one I linked above from Amazon, should be here in two days. I'll slap it in and report back.
