Not my Mustang, but for comparison, we took my wife's 2.0L EB 2013 Taurus to Bristol last month. Air was garbage with DA in the 5700's. Ambient was 90+. Best run was a 16.265@ 82.77 with a 2.4 60ft. Car was launching with no spin. Track elevation is 1400+

Took same car last night to Milan Dragway in Milan, MI while on vacation.
Ambient as in the low 80's with 75% humidity. DA was around 3000. Track elevation is 600+.

Best run was a [email protected] with a 2.230 60ft. WITH some minor spin off the line. Granted the better 60ft accounts for some of the drastic improvement, the DA is the real key. Not that this is anything new, but I was flat ass impressed with the ET difference.

This car is stock with a K&N panel and that is it. It made 209/246 on the dyno.

Over a second drop and gain of almost 8mph. Can only hope my Mustang would have faired that well and better. {13.3@106 at Bristol same day}

When I change something on my '14 GT, I look at my raw timeslips from the track, but also recalculate using a DA calculator (from Dragtimes.com) to take the DA variable out of the equation. 1000' of DA can swing an ET by about a full percent and weather changes often.

DA can make big changes especially on lower powered cars (OP EB), but nowhere a second per 1,000'.

Sorry, you're right. It's about 1% per 1000' of DA.

100% bone stock '14 Taurus SHO (non PP), DA 1434.
