VIDEO INSIDE: Stock vs. Solo Performance Street Race XV exhaust

My solo street race catback came in last night, and I had a chance to install it.

I'll do a write up on my one man install process, but in the meantime I wanted to share a video of how the two systems sound back to back.

Im very tempted to switch out my mach thunder x muffler section to the race x section.

nice! i ordered the exact thing (with black tips) on friday. should be here this coming friday!

thats what i was afraid of lol. in every video i watch it didnt sound very loud.

I DD mine. If you keep it under 2500 RPM, its manageable. at 3500 on cruise, I can have a conversation inside. Drive it harder and you cant hear yourself think.

Redline it and it wakes the dead and sets off every car alarm within 100 feet... especially in closed structures... SO MUCH FUN!!!

Can you do a video from inside the cabin driving?

Very Very true It is so loud just got one on my car a week ago this system i think personally is one of the loudest for the mustang.

Sure

Sounds great!! Love my street race setup. I've been asked a handful of times what headers I have because it's so loud.

I'll try and upload videos from inside the cabin today.

I have the Mach XV and I think its a little quiet.. making me want the Thunder. But... I know that I want to add Long Tubes.. so I think that will increase the volume to where I want it and be perfect. I can't imagine the street version with headers... lol
