ZL1 Addons rock guards for s550 - full instructions with photos

The instructions that come with the ZL1 rock guards were admittedly poor. I documented the whole process, took photos, and submitted a new set of instructions to John at ZL1. He loved them and authorized me to post them here at the forum.

Here are the PDF instructions (including 13 photos) and some photos of the installed guards on my car. They are minimalist when viewed from the rear, and near invisible from the side.

Any pics where the guard it in light? They look great in those pics but they are in the shadow. They seem like a good investment!

Yes, and I apologize. I just ran out before sundown to grab those pics out of timeliness. Of course, my car was facing the sun. And I am the biggest critic of backlit photos on this forum, haha. Tell you what, I will replace these pics during my lunch hour.

True, and the sooner the better, because rock chips don't wait for you.

Here is another attempt at photos with more light. They are invisible from the side. And very low-key when viewed from behind.

Feel free to complain if the photos are too big.

Thanks for the write up this will come in handy when I install my front rock guards. They originally shipped me focus rock guards but I now have the correct ones

Just a suggestion: you may want to take the case off your gopro... your mic is muffled because of that.

Installed mine today... They look good on the car
