I ordered standard ones, received Deluxe.
Installed 2 months ago. So far so good.

I'm wondering if I should get the deluxe or not... I would imagine the deluxe are thicker, so it would be prone to rebounding to it's original shape, pulling the tape with it, no?

I have adhesion promoter on standby, but I'm considering drilling another hole and using another pushpin to really secure it.

I absolutely HATE 3M tape. Aside from my emblems, everything I've ever installed ends up lifting over time. My Cervini window louvers, and my roush scoops are lifting in small spots, even though I was extremely thorough with prep.

The deluxe are thicker. You can prevent the rebound by forming with a heat gun (carefully!), let cool, then apply per instructions.

Well mine survived another Chicago winter, and it was a doozie! I do not know if mine are deluxe or not since I bought them so long ago, but they are holding up. I have no issues with mine either with adhesion or rigidity/durability.

I'm officially over these mud guards and will have to spend even more money looking for replacements.

I've fixed the adhesive twice now on one side, and fixed the rear blocks once. And now just cracked one of my fronts on a very small amount of ice/snow pulling out of my driveway (road has been plowed but there's still some patches of snow/ice that are on the ground).

Any suggestions on ones that are made of a different material? Maybe one not so brittle once the temperature drops?

Why don't they include the gasket to keep ish out? Seems it should be included imo.
