Just curious to see how long each forum member plans on keeping their cars for.

Many years to come. Bought it in your town at Hall.

I have 4 years of car payments to make! So...it's at that long, if not longer!

That's a tough question.

6 year loan on it so what, 5 year 9 months left? haha.

I'd like to tell myself I'll keep it for the full 6 years but I know I wont. Probably 4 years. Maybe more depending on how much I modify it.

Do my mods slowly over the coming years and keep the car interesting - I might keep it around.

No plans. Didn't buy it for the short term. As long as it does give any problems I will keep it for a long time.

Well after trying to fit. My 51 yr. old. 6.4 inch, 260 pound body in a Corvette. I plan on keeping the Mustang forever. Was planning to trade for a Vette. But that car is just to damn uncomfortable to be trapped in. Getting in and out is a gymnastic move for me. So a supercharger and coilovers are going on the Mustang. And it's now a keeper.

I dunno, my last car was a 2001 GT that I bought in 2003 and kept it until 2015.

This was the first (and probably last) time I bought a brand new car. I'm Definitely keeping my 2015 until it's paid off, which is just under 4 more years. I love my 5.0, but don't play the trade up every couple years game that a lot of people do.

At least 3 more years. I am trying to keep cars for at least 4 years now. Have traded up too many times in the past. Plus I still love it.

Based on me having had a 86GT, 96 Cobra, 07 GT\CS vert, and now the 16 GT, I'd say until late 2026 ;-)

Yeah the 07 was an anomaly. Ha ha.
