there is a faint hope that i might be trading my GT PP for a GT350

I have a set of forgelines that i don't want to give up from my GT, but i'm told that they won't fit a GT350 because the wheel studs have a larger diameter.

is it possible to bore out the holes in the wheel to fit the GT350? and if yes, by how much?

I think all the s550 Mustangs use 14mm studs, which is bigger than most cars run, and bigger than the s197.

I would be very surprised if the GT350 went even bigger. But you could bore out the holes if you had to.

You might need a front spacer though, as the GT350 has wider front fenders and a different front hub.

The rear hubs also sit out further so the wheels, if flush on a normal S550, will poke a good bit on a GT350

my forgelines were from my old s197 and i've been using them on my s550 GT. they cost me dearly back in the day and i would not be able to afford to buy new again, so i was hoping i could still keep them.

because they were meant for a narrower s197, their offsets are on the high side, but the fronts still are able to clear the brembos. but to be flush, i have to run a 15mm front/25mm rear spacers with extended studs.

While the stud and lug size did change for 2015, many S197 wheels have been proven to fit just fine. The hub bore is the same, and they use a very similar/same lug seat. Measure the stud holes on your forgelines, if larger than 14 mm, they'll fit.
