Every set of wheels that I have were under 1K (probably all under 700 actually), and I have 6 sets lol. MMD, XXR, etc. Yes they are lower quality wheels, but I've never had a problem.

Im slightly biased but 2013-2014 GT500 wheels are my favorite especially in the hyper gray color. The first car isnt mine (im waiting to get some tires in spring for mine and run them as my summer set). Second two pics are mine. Sorry for the dirty ass car. But I got 4 19x10's for $475ish. Granted it was during BF but they are still fairly cheap now I think.

I do like the GT500 wheels and SVE drifts. Honestly I was getting pretty excited about the Enkei RPF1s but unfortunately I was told they can't clear the brakes... though I've seen some people running the RPF1s. Maybe it's a matter of PP or base GT 4 piston brakes. :frusty:

Niche are great wheels for cheap, and fairly light. i think my 20x10 Essens are 28 pounds each and retail for a whole $262 each wheel.

The GT350 SVE clones in 20x10 are $809 on Late Model Restoration and that's with a set of lugs too.

The issue is you will need tires too which are more expensive than the wheels.

FR500's in both 18 and 20 inch are well under 1000 as well. But as mentioned the tires are gonna cost you more than the wheels.

Ive always liked that style too. Those are replicas, right? Where did you purchase?
