What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Installed Steeda Stop the Hop kit. Not a bad install.

Adjusted the exhaust as much as I could. It is still 1/3 off center. To the muffler shop tomorrow. I did not feel like dropping it to bend hangers.

Painted the rear calipers with HVT caliper paint in anticipation of front black Brembos going on next weekend. Yes, I know, the rims need to be washed along with the entire car.

Ordered the pins I was missing to install the front Brembos this weekend.

Installed my new catch can! Came out great. Large and non-recirculated. No more issues with my UPR can.








Plastidipped my GT badge over the weekend. My Xlume badge chrome went bad and I'm waiting on warmer weather to replace it due to the 3M tape.

Came out alot better than expected, I actually like it alot.

My experience with muffler shops is that I would give them a grade of 'C'. They are unpredictable. They take a torch to your hanger, over-bend it, and eventually give up. Your alignment will still be off, just is a different direction. :lol:

Take a 2' length of 1/2" iron pipe from the home improvement store, and bend the hanger yourself, no torch needed. You can actually use a tape measure to check how far it is off, and therefore, where to move the hanger to.

Alignment after stop the hop install. It recommends doing one and I can see why. I had it aligned last week after spring install and it was perfect.

Some adjustment was needed to get back into spec.

Eibachs installed full BMR rear kit installed. Alignment done. Waiting on valve stems to install my wheels.

Put some more miles on her ...

Since 07/03/17 when I picked her up.

Cleaned out my personal belongings before her extended stay at the dealership for valve issues...

Snagged theses babies from p411mstang the other day. Yesterday
Preped one of the two replacement heat extractors for Gloss Black paint.
I'm going to attempt to paint the honeycomb grill Ruby Red, could be kinda tricky, so we'll see. TBD!
