Today is my day to start negotiations on a GT350. Dealers across TX, OK, and LA are inconsistent on their pricing. Most are at MSRP, 5 others reflect discounts off of MSRP ranging from $400 to $3,000 off, and then there are the 4 dealers still showing pricing over MSRP from $3k to $10k.

If I am successful getting good trade value on my '15 GT Prem, and can get money knocked off of MSRP, I'll be celebrating my long-awaited GT350 purchase.

Well reaching out to dealers pays off... One of the old dealers I had reached out to last year called me Friday and offered an R to me at MSRP! This is a smaller dealer that I had spent a lot of time talking to in the past and they originally had made me a deal at $2K over... only to find out that they weren't getting an allocation in 2018. :( They apologized profusely back then and were a little embarrassed that they got me excited about the deal and couldn't fulfill it.

So now I have to decide if I want to buy 2 R's! (haha). I am not surprised this dealer offered this to me as I had built a relationship with them over a few weeks and had actually signed paperwork with them.

I asked if I could pass this on to anyone and they said "no" as they will have no problems selling the car at over MSRP.

Dealers like this are extremely rare but they are out there if you work. I had originally called over 60 dealers looking for a car/deal, so persistence can pay off.

Just throwing my 2 cents into this thread. I purchased a brand new GT350 non R for $500 below MSRP in los angeles. I purchased the car in July of 2017. The deals are out there, just got to do a little leg work.

Which dealership did you get that deal with? That's almost unheard of in Los Angeles. PM if you don't want to post dealer.

I picked it up at Airport Marina Ford. At that time they had 4 in stock, they all had $10k mark up. I tried squeeze $1,000 below MSRP but they weren't having any of it.

I really Wanted the Dark Blue GT350 but by the time I got there it was sold. So I went back home to search. I will NEVER Pay ADM, It the Dealer don't budge on that I leave, no reason to waste my time with them.

A few days later the Dealer I have purchased 7 cars from contacted us and wanted me to see a late 2017 GT-350 he called it Ruby Red Tinted Clear Coat.
We went down to look at it and I Liked it, Not a Red Car Fan but it was different.

so we took it home. Under MSRP...

That's an 18, I looked at that one, I refused to PAY ADM, it's a waste of money you are tossing it down the drain.

Yep still sitting there waiting for some highly uneducated person to come and agree to buy it. I was there buying a truck and the sales guy asked if I wanted that R and I said I had a non R and very happy, and then I threw in I paid sticker... only dumb asses pay a ADM. He didn't seem happy with that response :p
Though uneducated is probably the wrong word, impatient would be more like it.

Will be interesting to see how the announcement of the 19's will affect ADM on the 18's

I was a 'dumb ass' and I admit it. Paid $20K ADM for my 2007 GT500. Within 10 months I could have had one for MSRP. Never again, but I've noticed there are still a lot of 'dumb asses' around.

Just paid a sale price of $59,005.44, on a new 18, GT350. Market value or final MSRP with options on the window sticker was $61,515.00. Lightning Blue car, no stripes, Electronics Package. Fair deal I think, but I have seen some stealership's still with 3-10k ADM's.

Anything below MSRP is a great deal. Congrats on the ride!

Yea, I thought it was a decent deal. Sold the 03, SB Cobra and had to get one. Been looking for months and found that one. My only concern is the Oil Consumption problem, but that's for another thread. Ill drive it to the wheels fall off. :)
