I can almost guarantee it wont be at the current exchange rate, it will be higher. Just look at history for the 350, the exchange rate used by ford was closer to 40%. The options were prices very close to actual rate back then though.
To be fair to Ford, at the time they announced the 2015/2016 prices for the GT350, our dollar was around 0.72 USD and dropping faster than a Kardashian in front of a TV executive waving a fat contract.

I am (cautiously) optimistic that Ford will price the new car according to the current exchange, but not based on the likely further upward trajectory.

Do they have more allocations? I'm thinking hard about whether to pay ADM this time around if my dealer asks for it.
He told me that he is only showing an allocation for one right now. For 16 they got 2, so maybe he will get another?

I was just able to place an MSRP order for a 17 Ruby Red from a local dealer a few minutes ago and the prices on the VOC match what FPCV8Y0 in his post. Now to cancel or sell my 16...sigh.
After finding a $2500 over allocation yesterday and calling 15 dealers I actually think I'm closing in on an MSRP allocation a couple states away. They have my build just waiting to hear back.

Now the question is do I go back to the local dealer with $2500 over and try to play this new MSRP one against them if I get it or just make the drive..

how long until you would get it delivered if you had to guess? Say it was ordered this month. Maybe August/September at earliest?

Great info, thanks.

Now, if history is anything to go by, Ford Canada will probably charge us right at the current USD to CDN exchange rate, making for a 69k "base" price. Ouch, but possibly doable, especially since the electronics package I would want would cost "only" 3800, versus the prev 9000 for the tech package (and I would rather keep the Recaros anyway). Gotta think this through...
Unfortunately for future Canadian Shelby owners, i see the '16 base price ( $63099 )+ '16 track pack option ( $8100 ) adding up.

We'll see the base canadian price for a '17 Shelby at around $71K :eyebulge:

That's a big chunk of change for a Shelby up here.

Possible, or at the end of the model year. Order date and build priority are not at all linked. If its a very small dealer most likely you are going to be waiting for quite awhile

Yeah my wife said that about my M3. Then I just played a video of the GT350 exhaust and said "but does it sound like this". After she came out a fog from the sound orgasm she just had she immediately said I could get one.

They will build many before the cold hits...I'm guessing at least a few thousand

I think the word "orgasm" sealed the deal... but I agree, the outcome is synonymous with the FPC exhaust sound. :D

My wife is just happy the car is in the garage and only makes the noises outside, said that its much better than the countless youtube videos I played over and over for 8 months while I waited for it to arrive :headbonk:. She does however enjoy the new sound

You don’t want to know
I've heard from a large dealer that they've only been give 1 allocation for 2017, as opposed to 4 for 2016. (I'll bet they get more later.) Maybe this means all dealers will get one '17 before any dealers get a second one. Making the smaller dealers wait a year for a sold customer car is obscene.

Let the games (and rumors) begin!

Where is the price info for the 350R? Am I missing something obvious?
The R is Equipment Group 920A therefore you have to add $7500 into the base price. The R for 2017 went up $500... therefore new base price is $61,795.

Plus add the mandatory $900 Dest Fee and $1300 GG Tax + any other options you also want to add.... plus that ADM. :D

I'm confused as a GT350 newb. What does the R give you in 2017? Wheels/Tires and?
