Installing a DSCSport Module in GT350

I don't think people realize how simple it is to install a DSCSport controller in their car. 15 mins and it is in and ready to hit some corners.

^Is it an issue of installation or the time/expertise needed to tailor the ECM for the desired application?

Hi Control4userguy, sometimes people prefer to have us install the controllers. But the controllers themselves are plug and play and very easy to install. No worries.

If you order the DSC Sport mounting bracket, you don't have to unmount the factory module from the factory bracket, and you'll have time to stop for coffee half-way through without taking more than 15 minutes.

Test data would be very helpful like track time or g force improvement

It would be nice for one of the track guys who are using these to take their car out and bring the stock MR controller. Throw down 5 laps, swap computer, do 5 more.

I know its a Porsche and not a GT350 and on a street not track but take a look:

Has DSC done this themselves with the GT350 during their development of the software?

Haha, I would have to foot the bill for one and as it stands right now it's going to be a few months before the mods roll in.

The plan was to do this exact thing at Mid-Ohio the weekend before last but there was more water than not and ended up being like 6 sessions in the rain so I didn't get much track time.

I'll have 3 days at Gingerman in June to play with that I can report back on with back to back comparisons. Not exactly soon but I have a lot going on and don't expect to make it to the track before then though I might late May.

DSCSport, would you please send a PM to forum administrator Jarstang? There some policies in place to become a supporting vendor and advertise. Closing this thread.
