Thanks Tim! Noting too crazy, just a few things like the 4lb lithium battery, aluminum driveshaft, front runners and a pair of race seats. All of that adds up to about 150lbs and will keep the car a completely functional daiy while saving a good amount of weight.

I finally pulled the trigger a few weeks ago on a 10.2” nav upgrade and installed it yesterday! It was shipped quickly from China (6 days to Cali), packed securely and showed up perfect. Install is a giant pita since there’s no directions, but there’s a thread in the nav section that has good detailed info and tips. Side by side it dwarfs the stock 4” screen. Everything works as it should and the system really gives the interior a different more luxurious look.

Had the pleasure of reading about your build from the start today. I'll have to say it's one of the best build threads out there, with good quality pictures accompanying all changes.

Thanks man I appreaciate that! I figure pictures speak 1,000 words so I tried to include as many as possible (although uploading on this site is a pita) along the way. Stay tuned for more mods very soon!!

Looks awesome, even bigger than the premium screen.

A few more things arrived yesterday/today! My 17x4.5” Forgestar F14 Drag Edition front runners (thanks Paul) to go with my rears and I mounted matching M&H Racemasters on them in 185/55/17. Also acquired some Forgetstar red center caps from a forum member who wasn’t using them for a few bucks cheaper than what they retail for shipped to my door...it breaks up the black imo and they look even better in person!

Thanks brotha! Yea it’s bigger than any horizontal screen available for our cars. Really looks Oem once it’s in and everything functions 100% correctly. Phone calls work fine, backup cam is normal (but huge lol) and pandora streams flawlessly on Bluetooth from my iPhone7+.

It came down to the wire, but I went to the post office yesterday morning and was able to have the manager find my package I wanted before I went to the track. I ordered the new Antigravity Atx-20 with ReStart technology to keep my ass from getting stranded just in case hahaha. They just released it Thursday so it made shipping cut it close to get it to me so I could have it in the car by Saturday, even coming from So Cal.

I modded the battery box and used some lashing straps so I didn’t have to buy the $150 aluminum mounting bracket. Worked perfectly. Battery weighs 3.75lbs so I shaved off about 27lbs over stock. Starts the car easily cold, warm or hot and it is worth it’s weight in gold with the features it has...dual terminals for mounting neg/pos on either side, clip in 1” risers to make it taller and the re-start which gives you piece of mind having a mini battery.

What's the weight saves for the wheels, and do you have pictures of them and the battery mounted?
I didn’t weigh the tires, but the 17x4.5” wheels are 15lbs each. The tires are around 15-20lbs each, so somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-35lbs each. I’ll get a weight when I yank them off the car. Just added the Antigravity installed pic to my post and I’ll snap a few pics of the drag setup on the car.

My shaftmasters 1 piece 3.5” aluminum shaft was supposed to be here Friday so I could install it before going to the track, but unfortunately around 8pm Friday delivery got pushed back until Monday. When I got home from the track Saturday I was surprised to see my driveshaft sitting by the front door! I installed it Sunday and I’m really impressed with the quality...it is significantly lighter than the stock 2-piece shaft and way larger diameter. They even supplied a 10 point wrench for the diff side bolts since you can’t get a socket on them.

Road tested after install and I had zero vibrations with a noticeable change and improvement in throttle response with a direct drive feeling. Very happy with this upgrade, I highly recommend it!

Couple of quick pics of my drag setup after I got caught in some rain on the way home today. Apparently the M&H’s do ok in the rain lol.

Also for those that don’t visit the drag section, here’s a vid of my best pass from the track last Saturday!

My Cervinis 4” cowl hood finally arrived yesterday after 6 weeks of waiting!! Had them paint it shadow black and it turned out really good! It has a little orange peel, but not too crazy. Should be able to polish it out, but I need to check with them to see how many clear coats have been applied. Fitment is really good and lucky for me my buddy works at a body shop so he came by and helped with install. We are going to adjust the fenders this weekend to get it really dialed in.
