So, on day one of the reveal opinion was 99% negative. I get that. People don't like change.

I'm seeing a shift towards a more positive attitude on the interwebs today though.

Are you guys warming to the new look yet?

Still the same opinion as when I first saw it, exterior is worse, interior is better. Won't sell my car for it at all.

Also what they show and what we receive are generally very different so I will just wait until the RHD features are announced.

I liked it from the start. Doesn't look that different to me. Had I ordered it in the past few months, I would love a MY18.

Not one convertible pic yet.
There will be a soft top?
Like to see vert Kona blue with new wheels.

I still dislike the front end - looks too sleek and non-muscle car.
Rear end I quite like with the new diffuser and quad tips.
Interior wise, the idea of an option of a virtual dashboard is quite cool.
Not enough in it to persuade me to change my order to an MY18 though.

Inside and motor I'd take, especially the dash. But that front end, looks like the Charger and the current Mx5 had a lovechild. Or like a bad rip off of the Mustang in GTA IV

As I said day 1, tech, interior and engine improvements are great. Exterior changes are horrible and were so unnnecessary. They could have just done some tiny tweaks to the exterior, the other changes and called it a day and been onto a winner. Instead they ruined it. The positive is I am not envious of future owners at all and won't be in any rush to sell mine!

For me, if I have to warm up to a car then that is not the car for me.
The first 6G batch design smacked me on the head and I had to get even though I have not test driven it etc.

This update make me go...Nahhh.

Power update doesn't concern me as I will most likely super charge mine sometime in the future.

I only like the digital dash.

Well, after a couple of days to digest the changes - I am in the "fan" camp - it's a great looking car inside and out IMO.

Not sure that I would change a current 2017 order for one (due to the uncertainty of what will actually lob on our shores feature wise, unknown pricing model and an even longer wait until you get your arse into a seat).

As it stands, I won't be upgrading until at least the S650.

Is anyone one with a 2016/17 on order contemplating cancelling and re-ordering the 2018? Just a thought.

Not me... I've got one due for July/August delivery (or so they tell me) and will stick with the current one.

Admittedly, I did toy with the idea to wait and see and possibly change the order since the digital dash is about the only thing that excites me, but the more I thought about it, it's not really in line with the heritage of what a Mustang is, so have decided against it.

ordered mine in october, got nsc at xmas. probably getting at MY2017. i wont cancel my order because i want a mustang ASAP and at this moment i dont think many of these options that we want will come to australia. if they all get here i wont mind a 2018MY but i rather take a 2017MY than wait an extra year.

I didn't hate it initially but I'd only take it over an original S550 due to the quad-tip exhaust (ordered GT350 one anyway) the increased power, (gonna supercharge mine eventually) and the digital dash. I'm *hoping* someone will be innovative enough to design a conversion kit. Otherwise, I'm happy keeping my current order in place.
