South East Meet Newlands Corner, 26th Feb

Nearly there people, going to be a good meet!!

So trying to decide which meet to attend next week. I know there's one in Wolverhampton but doesn't seem to be anyone from my way going up. Is there anybody going from Wiltshire/ South West area to this one I could meet up with and blast down to the meet with if I decide to come?

There is a few of us meeting at the liphook service station on the A3. You could take a detour and meet us? Hindhead tunnel to so you can have some fun in that on the way looked at google maps and the time isn't much difference but I think it was an extra 20 miles

Yessir! Planning to go south for a Starbucks at Liphook 08.30 ish before cruising up to Newlands Corner.

I called in at Newlands Corner last Sunday jus before 10am to check out how busy it was. It was pretty crowded, although there were 2 car meets going on Lotus owners and BMW Z owners), but it was a beautiful day so that will have made it busier. Whichever group gets there first might need to do some imaginative 'landscape' parking to secure a decent area. I think last year we we'd planned 10.30 so we should be earlier this time, and there were still plenty of spaces at the bottom end of the car park. Lots of disapproving looks from the ramblers with more non-standard exhausts this year. ;)
