First of all, I'm not sure what section to put this question in, so if it's in the wrong section, I apologize. I recently installed a Steeda heel/toe pedal on my GT, and as the dimensions of the pedal are different than the stock pedal, I wanted to check to make sure the pedal won't get stuck in any way. Obviously, I'd rather do this while the car is off, just in case. Since the car is drive-by-wire, is it fine to depress the gas pedal while the car is off? Sorry if this is a stupid question... I just want to do a couple WOT tests to make sure the pedal won't get stuck while I'm out on the street or a track. Thanks in advance for the help!

The only type of car you are not supposed to floor the gas when the car is off is the carbureted ones. They tend to flood when you do that.
