Build Date

Ok, I am looking on COTU website. I ordered on 12/10/14, and got my VIN on 12/11/14. It shows that you should have a build date before the VIN. Is this true? Just wondering if I am doing something wrong.

Unfortunately COTUS never tells you a build date. The Dealer/Ford Service was the only way to get this info. You should see movement on COTUS one week before your build day in Jan. After it is built COTUS will have the build date in the box, but not before.

Once you are able to view your window sticker, at the top you'll see your Blend Date, which looks like this

120141209

1, 2014, 12, 09

Which means your build date would be December 9th in this case.
