Have searched here and can’t find anything. I have a GT350 and my wife has a 16 GT performance pack premium. I am getting lighter weight wheels for the GT350, and and want to donate my GT350 wheels to my wife. Are they an easy plug and play install on a 2016 Mustang GT? Are their any stud fitment or backspacing issues to deal with? Thank you in advance.

They may require a 5 mm spacer up front.

You should be fine on inner clearance to the strut depending on the tire sizes/brand, however you will need to dial in some negative camber with adjustable camber plates if you do not want them to poke/hang outside of the front fenders.

Decreasing the front tire size to a 285/35-19 (like the gentleman did in post #9 of the link above) would be ideal for her GT, as this is still plenty of tire for the front of that car and it will buy you a little more clearance.

OEM GT350 wheels work without spacers or modifications needed.
In effort to be clear to all readers since it sounds like we are providing OP with differing responses, are you indicating the front 19x10.5" ET30's with 295's will not poke?

Thanks Paul.

Thanks guys. It seems like a reasonable upgrade and fairly easy too. Thank you again.

It fits flush tire buldges just a tad about 3-4 mm thats it, no rubbing no issues.

Did it on my buddies car he used my personal GT350 wheels for 2 months while his custom wheels were getting made.

I want to see R on a s550... rears fit for sure, I cant imagine the fronts poke is really all that bad.

Copy that. The GT350 front wheel sits 11mm further out towards the front fenders in comparison to the popular 19x10" ET35 which most would consider flush with 285/35-19 tires, so I figured most enthusiasts with the more aggressive GT350 wheels (a wider 295's) would want to dial in some camber to ensure the wheels aren't hanging outside the fenders. I suppose it all comes down to individual preferences.

Our EC-7 18/19x11" ET52 wheels are used often for rotatable square fitments on the S550 GT and GT350/R chassis with 25mm spacers up front (strut clearance), which are essentially equivalent to an 11" ET27 when you factor in the spacers. The OEM GT350R front wheels are 19x11" ET24 as you may know.

We definitely recommend negative camber for our 11" square fitment on GT's, otherwise the front wheels are poking quite a bit. Since the OEM GT350R front wheels are 3mm more aggressive, negative camber would certainly be required.

Fitment aside, if the goal is to actually put 295 or 305 front tires to use, it would behoove one to install adjustable camber plates to dial in optimum camber settings.
