Cool. I spoke to an old acquaintance back in late 2017 about the stock heads as well and a port job. Gave me a great price but I am waiting on the Cortex intake to possibly do a port match combo with stock exhaust. Need to see if the intake will fit under the hood without having to lower the motor. Very interesting that he is doing a port match stock intake on the ported heads first. I like that approach first since the manifold intake options are currently limited to stock and adapting the SCJ. Keep us posted.

[MENTION=30882]Mjc1241[/MENTION], what's the deal with the Cortex intake? I've heard it mentioned before but I don't know a damn thing about it. Is it GT350 specific or 'Yote/GT350 application?

Cortex racing and Mast were working on a stroker engine that MAST released at SEMA/PRI I dunno if they have an intake in the works too?

Talked to Filip at Cortex Racing back in December based on a post that I came across on the 350 forums. He stated that yes they are working on a GT350 manifold and the preliminary timeline is this summer. Sent me a pic too. Let me see if I can attach it.

It probably is the same pic from PRI that was attached to the original post about it but I can still send the pic that he sent me. My hope is that it will fit under the strut tower brace and stock hood. If so, I am in. If not, I will have to really be sold on the extra power to give up the additional front end structural rigidity.

What's their goal with the intake? Low end, top end? Smoothening?

Not sure. Since it is in development, they did not give me any details.
