how to change manual transmission fluid on s550

can anyone post a step by step on how to replace the manual transmission fluid for the s550.

There is a drain plug on the bottom of the transmission to let the fluid out and a fill plug on the side.to put it in, it is as simple as that.

You will need to buy/borrow a hand pump to get the new fluid from the bottle to the trsnsmission.

You will need an Allen Key style wrench for the fill plug. Can't exactly tell you the size, but it's not that large. It faces the passenger side of the vehicle.

Does the clutch need to be bled?

No. Fluid out and fluid in. However, the flexible fill tube cannot be that large in diameter because the fill plug diameter is rather on the small side from what I have been used to.

always open the fill port first too as a general rule for any type of fluid replacement

For those that read this, use an 8mm allen wrench. Attach an 8mm socket with extension to the end of the allen wrench to use as leverage. Torque max is 26 ft lbs.
