Are those 2007 rims 17"? They look like 17's in the picture. According to your links both 17's and 18's in 2007 are 8" wide, have 48mm offset, and bolt pattern being 5 X 114.3.

Also according to your links, your 2015 18" should also be 8" wide, 48mm offset, with 5 X 114.3 bolt pattern. If that is the case, there should be no problem switching between both rims.

You should ask the seller whether the wheels say ET48 in the stamping. You can usually find that on the inside of the spokes. Anything from 45 to 50 should be fine as long as your tires are not ultra wide. Your stock 235mm thread width shouldn't give you any problem.

When you order tires just make sure you go from the 50 aspect ratio to 55 to compensate for the lost if 1" in rim diameter, in order to make the overall tire diameter as close to stock as possible. (That is assuming you are staying with 235mm thread width)

Thanks for the reply!

I will visit the guy this saturday to take a look at the wheels, they are already on Blizzaks so i will not have to change tires.

The only thing that worries me is not knowing if the bolts / nuts will fit correctly since the 2007 wheels may be thinner, i guess the only way to find out is to try them on.

The difference won't be significant. As long as you can get at lease 6 full turns into the hub you are good.

Be careful if the Bllzzaks are of the WS series (WS50/60/70, etc.) The WS uses a very soft microcell tube compound on the top 55-60% of the tread to provide ice traction, and underneath that is just plain old 4 seasons compound that is no good on ice (it exists to support the soft compound on top.) There is a 50% wear bar on the outermost groove that will tell you how much of the ice compound is left.

Also make sure you read the date code. Any tires more than 7 years old should be thrown out regardless of how much tread is left, due to deterioration and hardening of the rubber compound over time.

Thanks i will check for the date, the tires are supposed to be only 1 year old.

It is the LM-60 so i guess it should be fine even with some wear.

whoa they have 17's? I've literally never seen one on 17's. Sorry there, I had no idea they went that small.

Mine is currently on 18" but stock is 17". I just confirmed and older mustangs had 12.4" break rotors, same as my V6 so it should be fine.

If you end up getting these would you mind snapping some pics? Curious to see how they look on this car.

Sure, i am hoping they will fit ok because the guys is asking for $600 for wheels and tires which seems like a good deal to me.

I bet they will not look very good, but for this price it is still way better than steel rims!

One issue i see is that the studs on the s197 are 1/2 unf the s550 is 14x1.5 so you may wanna make sure they slide over the stud as well just to be safe .

That is my biggest concern, can you please elaborate a little about this? Which one is bigger?

I am from Brazil so i have no idea what a 1/2 unf is and what a 14x1.5 is. If it is not in centimeters and millimeters it doesn't make any sense to me
