I will be installing the 4 point G-trac probably this coming weekend. Do you physically have to break the tabs off or push them down?
Break them off. You're car won't fall apart. Well, if it does... you had bigger issues. :headbonk:

I installed this weekend and yes i do feel a difference, especially since i had to cut my upper brace, due to the supercharger. very much needed and now the car tracks straight once again. the tabs were painless to take off with needle nose pliers. oh, I had to grind a little off the spacer on the drivers side, but no big deal.

New problem. Didn't get the cylinders in yet but.... did a test fit and it takes all 4 spacers on drivers side to make brace clear the drivers side header (barely). Once I get it on the brace won't be parallel. Is this normal/safe? I have TSP headers.
Mainly doing this in case anyone else has this issue current day. Steeda has a new 2 point brace that perfectly clears TSP headers without the use of any clearance spacers. Using a big stack of clearance spacers can reduce the effectiveness of the brace. Part number is 555-5534. It is made for the Ecoboost and GT500 but it fits the GT with TSP headers perfectly.

I actually needed bigger spacers than what Steeda supplied - I guess Ford must have refurbished their tooling giving less of a burr than what had grown over time :
