Certainly looking like there will be a Bullitt.

With PPL2 would be too much - or as I like to call it - a guaranteed sale!

Yes and No. NOT to jinx it....BUT.... a few years ago (to me) back in 2004 there was a Mustang commercial ...... with the Steve McQueen 'Bullitt" cameo in car scene and key toss to the next generation, a barn, a field...all to introduce the 2005 Mustang (did not use a Bullitt recreation in the movie but a strict 05 -silver I recall). so...Ford could do a repeat with a "Bullitt" Mustang looking car tearing up come city streets to introduce the 2018 Mustang, mag ride suspension, more HP etc...without actually producing/selling a 2018/19 Bullitt.

As a former owner of 2001 and 2008 Bullitts I really hope I'm wrong. Just be careful about assuming too much....They can bring back heritage for a commercial to tie the modern to the old without selling a copy of the heritage....

If I recall that GT wasn't DHG. This car looks to perhaps be a dark green.

I suspect pricing in the 48-52k range.

Correct. It wasn't (silver if I recall). It was just the "Bullitt" theme and McQueen in his Bullitt dress and in car view of him they used in the 04/05 Commerical. Remember the 05 came out of a barn-- 2 tie ins...Mustang/horse/corral and the rumor of the original Bullitt Mustang in storage in a guys barn.

Here they (just speculating) could be using a lookalike car without the name badge... for the same heritage effect (saves on copyright issues with the McQueen estate - again, hoping I'm way wrong).

No 5.0 badge on fender, correct wheels, spoiler delete, right color all prove it's the real deal to me. They wouldn't market a car that people can't buy.

Looks like a light gray front caliper so not even PP1.
Maybe a tie in to the 08/09 Bullitt. They painted the brake caliper to match the wheel color so they blended in. Reverse of the 01 Red brakes and more in keeping with the understated theme of the original 1968 car(s). The size of the rotor scream current Brembo package painted wheel color to me (no Brembo logo as it would be out of theme) but the smallish size of the caliper (aka non Brembo) is beginning to really bug me while staring at the pic....but .... time will tell.

You couldn't get PP on the California Special-- I'm sure hoping this isn't a looks package on the level of the CA Specials (which I loved)..the Bullitt just has to at least match the PP1.
