Out of curiosity, does the cradle lock out itself sit lower than the exhaust? Since lowering my car with your handling springs (and steeda shocks and struts) I've dinged my exhaust twice.

Worried that these would scrape if they are low. How much higher than your low profile jacking rails do they sit?

I guess ill just gather up all the tips I have read and give it a go and expect the worse. Pretty sure my car was a third shift build. Decent size guy so Ill muscle it around. Cant stand the hop anymore after 17k miles.

CB005 did some SERIOUS work this weekend!

Sheldon Lewis, the 2nd fastest 1/4 Mile S550 in the world, went 8.08@176!

This matches Mo Makki as the fastest, except Mo has the "3rd digit" on Sheldon.

In the Video, I said "thats it" - as I thought was going to be his 7 second pass.

The other car that kicked ass was this one, which won the 6R80 Shootout with a BLISTERING 8.32! Check out that 1.25 sixty foot time. This ALSO matches the current 6R80 Record time by Evolution Performance, except Evolution has them beat with their 8.321! Atleast all of these cars are #BMREquipped so I am not upset one bit! lol

They are 15" wheels, unfortunately.

If he was on 17's he would have already gone 1.2 sixty and 7's. :headbang:

He does bump in....just not sure what exactly he is using to control the bump.

Hello,
I just received my CB005 kit and noticed on the inside of the arms where the bolt goes in, there is a big lump of weld/ distortion on the surface that wouldn’t allow the bolt/washer to sit flat on the surface. I could throw it on a mill and machine it flat but shouldn’t have to do this on a new part. Hard to see in the pic, but it’s at about 1:00.

I did PM Kelly, curious to know if anyone else ran across this issue. Poor QC on these parts.

It's not metal / weld. That is a one piece CNC machined cup.

You are likely seeing uneven coating thickness.

I'm not sure that's going to matter much in terms of how the product will work (performance and durability) especially since the picture isn't the best - but if you would like us to get it back and send you a new arm, that's what we will do.

The best route to take would be to send me an email to [email protected] with a better quality picture. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. You were correct as it was a large glob of powder that settled on one side of the cup surface. The stuff is very hard but after 15 min of scraping and grinding I got it down to a nice flat bare surface. A light coat of paint and it’s ready to go. I had no doubt that it would work as it was but more concerned about getting the proper torque and clamping load with the washer not sitting flat on the surface. Kind of an important bolt!

Look Mom, no Hop.

Those guys at BMR are great, and I have the CB005 & 06, as I run thru the twisty's. 80% of the "Hop" is stopped by CB005. I am a firm believer in BMR suspension, just wish I had more of their parts on my pony.
