Certainly looking like there will be a Bullitt.

If I recall that GT wasn't DHG. This car looks to perhaps be a dark green.Yes and No. NOT to jinx it....BUT.... a few years ago (to me) back in 2004 there was a Mustang commercial ...... with the Steve McQueen 'Bullitt" cameo key toss, a barn, a field...all to introduce the 2005 Mustang. so...Ford could do a repeat with a "Bullitt" Mustang tearing up come city streets to introduce the 2018 Mustang, mag ride suspension, more HP etc...without actually producing/selling a 2018/19 Bullitt.
As a former owner of 2001 and 2008 Bullitts I really hope I'm wrong. Just be careful about assuming too much....They can bring back heritage for a commercial to tie the modern to the old without selling a copy of the heritage....
Yeah, it's definitely the DHG.If I recall that GT wasn't DHG. This car looks to perhaps be a dark green.
Could just be non-painted.Looks like a light gray front caliper so not even PP1.
According to the original poster. So this shot took place in Chicago?
Looks like a light gray front caliper so not even PP1.
I'm trying to figure this out too. Those look like bigger brakes than a standard GT but I agree they don't look like Brembo calipers to me. Not sure what to think.Could just be non-painted.
That's what I just noticed. Looking forward to the wheels and possible aftermarket designed based off them.Looks like a light gray front caliper so not even PP1.
Correct. It wasn't (silver if I recall). It was just the "Bullitt" theme and McQueen in his Bullitt dress and in car view of him they used in the 04/05 Commerical. Remember the 05 came out of a barn-- 2 tie ins...Mustang/horse/corral and the rumor of the original Bullitt Mustang in storage in a guys barn.If I recall that GT wasn't DHG. This car looks to perhaps be a dark green.
No 5.0 badge on fender, correct wheels, spoiler delete, right color all prove it's the real deal to me. They wouldn't market a car that people can't buy.Yes and No.

Maybe a tie in to the 08/09 Bullitt. They painted the brake caliper to match the wheel color so they blended in. Reverse of the 01 Red brakes and more in keeping with the understated theme of the original 1968 car(s). The size of the rotor scream current Brembo package painted wheel color to me (no Brembo logo as it would be out of theme) but the smallish size of the caliper (aka non Brembo) is beginning to really bug me while staring at the pic....but .... time will tell.Looks like a light gray front caliper so not even PP1.
