Maybe I wasn't clear enough. That photo of the blower looks UGLY. Ford would not produce an ugly looking blower like that for the GT500.

Would you pay GT500 money (don't know how much but probably at least $60k) for a car that had a blower top that looked like that? I sure as heck wouldn't. That looks nothing like the smooth, shiny parts generally produced by Ford.

I didn't think the photo came from Ford. I'm not sure why you thought I was saying that. I agree Ford wouldn't send out an ugly photo like that.
Maybe not you but many of us will still buy a GT500 with an ugly looking blower that is covered by the hood 99.999% of time especially for GT350 money. :headbonk:

I just noticed on the easter egg.

96.3fm

963nm to tq

710.
Nice catch man, this is closer to realistic than the 755 lb T number.
The ZR1, with the 6.2 makes 710 Lb T. And around 750hp. I think ours being of smaller displacement will make more HP tho. I’ll throw out 810 hp IF it is 710 lb T. If not I’ll guess 776 HP and 680 lb T.

I actually think that engine bay looks cleaner than the GT500's.
Haha, exactly...that stock Eaton blower is fugly!

On a side note, it almost appears that that intake has a square recess in a similar shape to the old SVT engine signature plates.

true. a beefed up voodoo would be perfect. still one of the most amazing looing cars ever
You read my mind, a voodoo in that thing would have been EPIC!!! European styling with an american FPC engine, hell yeah!!! The Pantera used one of Fords best (IMHO) engines ever, 351ci Cleveland, why not put the Voodoo in there??? Sorry, I digressed, back to the discussion at hand, bowtie and mopar fans crying.

I believe all the stuff so far, 5.2 CPC, 2650 Blower, DCT, huge brakes, 20” wheels.
It’s the other tidbits that I wanna know like, HP Torque and weight and when the things are gonna start being built ;)

All that is good stuff(still a little disappointing no turbos)but I hope with all that they still make her a looker. I have not doubt she is going to haul ass. Just want her to look fine doing it! I like the looks of the 18 so they are starting with a good base!

That intake looks more like a container for an a/w IC core than a blower housing....

I know there's a lot of supercharger info "leaked" but based on this image, I'm leaning back to turbo.
