OK, I'm bugged already. While even Dodge had their Challenger configurator a couple months ago, we still can't build a 2021 Mustang. They need to get their s**t together. They've already screwed up enough by not offering GT500 with a manual. Why would they be delaying this?
If it's a slushbox of any kind you can have my place in line. I'll go out and buy a '91 Miata with 200k miles and ripped up interior instead. As long as it's a manual.
I don't see that as such a good deal when you can get a C7 Z51 brand new for not much more than that, which will perform damn close to the C6 Z in performance, has a warranty, and doesn't have a history of exploding motors.
I don't quite get it yet......even at 750 hp, with a base curb weight higher than the last model, it's going to be tough to build a car that's more fun to drive than the 13/14. With 3.55 gears, a short shifter, and a few suspension mods, my current car is a blast. I'm far from shutting the...
Move along, fellas. No announcement yet and certainty of ADM = no GT500 for realistic price for long, long, time.
Plenty of other nice cars out there at this price point, especially with ADM.
Bye bye for now, senor Ford. Maybe see you some time later.
I've had variations of this in several cars. Never use it. Before we had all these adjustable settings, did anyone ever really complain about the settings for their GT, GT500 or M3? Naw. The factory settings are just fine, iMO. You want a sporty car, buy a sporty car, and let the suspension...
Sure not.waiting around.for. Lots of.very nice cars out there that can be had for 70 or 80 grand, from Corvettes, to ZL ones, to Porsches and BMWs. No need to wait around for a hot rod Mustang.
No doubt about it. I own a 2013 740 LiX drive that was slightly over 100 msrp. B&W stereo, extended leather, nearly all options. Just turned 60k mi. Clean. I'd be lucky to get low 30s private sale. I bought it a yr old, though, and purchased an extended warranty, I think 8 yrs 100k mi. So...
I guess everyone has his or her limits. But you're right - I definitely think twice now before sinking six figures into a ride. One dingbat on the highway and you're talking major headaches and diminished value. It's nice to own a car to Drive and not worry so much about it. When you realize...
Meh. You do it once on a car you plan to keep forever, and then a lady in a Subaru sideswipes you on the highway and Bam, car is never the same again. Seriously makes you question dumping all that money into frivolous options again in the future. Spoken from experience.
It's largely due to anonymity, I believe. Most people wouldn't walk up to you unprovoked in a bar and tell you you're a dumbshit because of x, y, and z.. That would be Indicative of a sociopath who is looking for a fight. Yet on- line, with no chance of physical violence, people feel free to...
