PRI Show - Indianapolis
Any vendors or visitors to the PRI Show in Indiy?
I saw that VMP has a small booth setup and Ford had an Ecoboost Mustang there as well as a supercharged GT with a funky exhaust setup on a tilted stand. Any other vendors for Mustang stuff?
Maybe a section just for track run info? Pictures and vids of the runs. Post pics of timeslips and/or links to course results for Auto-X and road course guys to compare to the other cars that day.
1/4 mile info with mods
1/8 mile, road courses, autoX, etc...
Any mental notes on whether the other Ecoboost was PP or not? Trying to fathom transmission, gearing or just driver differences.
Were you running premium unleaded too? Possible other car was running regular unleaded? Need to see more of these to get a good expected range out of them I guess.
Not that. I've driven a FocusST and a FiestaST. They both sounded appropriate and pretty good for what they were. The Mustang vid above sounded closer to that crappy Subaru sound with the headphones on. Wasn't digging it.
Thinking it is just how it was recorded and processed. Maybe the...
I'm not as impressed.
To me it has a little of that of off-balance warble sound like Subaru which I honestly find annoying as hell. I'm hoping that can somehow be cured.
-edit- Listened to THLcar guys and their interior video when driving. Sounds better there. Maybe just the way the...
No. Unless the tune directly caused or it can be shown than the tune likely caused the failure. Then the repair on that particular item is at your expense.
Example.... Piston cracked, head gasket failed or similar from high boost detonation or lean burn after a tune. Probably tune related and...
It probably could be. Maybe Ford softened it up just enough not to overtake the GT in any of the tests or specs?
I'm trying to imagine this car with an extra 40-60 ft/lb or torque from a tune and what it can do then.
Mine may be laughable. It was my wife's 97, V6 coupe. I did put a Vortech blower on it but to be honest it was barely faster than my 2003 Nissan Sentra Spec-V at the time.
However she still has a soft spot for that car and mentions she misses it. So I'd like to give her a good Mustang she can...
And that to me is huge. I test drove a Fiesta ST a few weeks back and was really floored at how good it felt. Damn good driving car. I've also test driven the newer Camaro. Not a 1LE but a V6 and an SS. Really nothing about them that made me say wow. If it weren't for the new Mustang coming I...
Best....
2013 Chevy Sonic sedan, 1.4t, automatic, tuned - 43.6mpg from Atlanta to Cape Hatteras, NC
Worst....
Last week. 2011 Dodge Dakota quad cab, 2WD, 4.7, automatic - 8.7mpg. Was running a test tank of E85, towing a 3000lb, 6x12 trailer and driving the shit out of it.
I'm just glad they put it UNDER the hood. I don't plan to drive around or park with the hood up all the time so I think I can comfortably deal with the ugly overflow tank being out of site 99.97% of the time I own the car. (sarcasm)
Bummer... I'm planning on getting the Performance Package but REALLY like the wheels on the Anniversary Package. I don't care for the other stuff, just want the wheels.
Maybe I can find an Anniversary Package owner just before I take delivery that prefers the black PP wheels and trade... :clap2:
More factors are involved. The backspace on the wheels and/or brake and suspension component differences can have an effect also. Sometimes the angle that the wheels can be turned has to be limited to make sure components don't collide such as the inside of the tire rubbing the fender lining...
But what if you don't "like" facebook? Dropped them like a hot stone over a year ago.
Actually as far as I know, Facebook doesn't allow you to place a condition of entry into a promotion by requiring a posting such a like on a wall of a page. Seems the requirement to post a like (which would...
