  1. Front Tires have inside wear

Are the wheels stock? If not what offset? What size tires? Asking because I have had similar issues and it was not related to alignment, it was related to offset + tire size and inside tire rub. I went through 4 alignments and two sets of tires before I fully resolved it.
  2. I give you 10k for supercharger , which one are you picking and why? 🧐

Replying to your title... ESS centrifugal - I prefer to use the S550 for hillclimbs, canyons, mountains and the like. Centrifugals work great for that. More power than I will ever utilize fulltime, very manageable, reliable and easy to transition the car into play mode and subtle common traffic...
  3. Front Tires have inside wear

What size wheels/tires - offset? It could be toe/alignment, could be worn suspension components, it could be rubbing, could be both. Start with the easy part and visually look & check for physical signs of rubbing. This may or may not be correctable with an alignment OR wheel spacers / better...
  4. How many of you guys have an ESS or any centrifugal supercharger in California or emissions state?

Speaking from a Nevada standpoint as a result of dealing with the Nevada DMV (1x prolonged investigation), NHP (two pull over inspections), emissions and visual inspections I have been through. It does not matter (to them) if the kit is CARB/EPA/etc approved, stamped, documented, etc. When...
  5. Help with ESS procharger

Get the ESS parts off their website. The tube and filter fit like so (photos are of a GT)
  6. How many of you guys have an ESS or any centrifugal supercharger in California or emissions state?

No, CARB is California only ( California Air Resources Board ). Nevada does however have SB80 in effect (as of summer 2025) - which pushes it closer to a similarity of California's stricter emissions and anti-tampering regulations. Nevada also sends out DMV investigators to investigate parties...
  7. How many of you guys have an ESS or any centrifugal supercharger in California or emissions state?

Nevada here. Emissions state - half & half issues. Emissions related ESS Centrifugal, fully tuned, with Kooks (green - EPA compliant) headers. PRE- Nevada SB80 Never ever had any issues. Literally zero from 2011 to Nevada SB80 Post- Nevada SB-80 I was investigated by the Nevada DMV, forced to...
  8. A couple new KOOKS Mustang Header Videos

I've run Kooks Green for about 6 years now on a Supercharged S550 with no issues. Tuned. Passes emissions. Had a visual inspection recently passed. (New exhaust modification laws). Good investment for circumstance.
  9. Autocross S550 Build

I found great results of my own focusing on bracing/chassis stiffening modifications such as the Steeda stop the hop kit and jacking rails. However, this might be a negative if the car is daily driven. Stiffening and bracing the rear changes the drivability in cornering quite a bit, especially...
  10. New guy

Welcome. First mod is always the driver mod. * Get some seat time in it. * Normal driving. * Parking lot or industrial driving to understand limits of the car in lower speeds - this is one of the best cost efficient ways to actually learn a car - most drivers ignore this, and well "Mustang...
  11. Here's why forced induction isnt a good idea for track use

^ this... ... to add; Turbos and Centrifugal SC (Both are forced induction) have been very viable and commonly used for track applications. I've certainly seen these applications from low end grassroots to high end professional GT classes. The title of this thread is misleading (no offense meant...
  12. Catch can preferences

I ran JLTs when the car was NA. When I switched to a Centrifugal SC I put on a UPR Vented. It is my opinion the UPR is the better design and quality product for the money spent. I quite appreciate the UPR Vented. It is always a kick to watch people point at the hood vents when the car is warming...
  13. ESS Supercharger Qs

Writing this half awake. I run a 6 speed with an ESS kit on a 120 pulley (just shy of 700whp) and a ton of other modifications that make the car "harder" to drive on the street I.e. lightweight driveshaft, lightweight flywheel, upgraded clutch so on. Mods like that make the car "harder" to...
  14. Correct Camber, Caster and Toe numbers

Not sure if this is helpful for OP or a passerby in the future. I have a set of 20s - Velgen Classic5 V2 - F 20x10 285/30 R 20x11 315/30 Cars on lowering springs + magne And I run them at Front -2.5 Caster 6.9 Toe 0.00 Rear -2.00 Toe In 0.02 Functions very well in the mountains and...
  15. Introduce yourself!!

New here but a longtime lurker. 2021 GT original owner bought it in 2020. Feel weird posting, but I wanted to browse the projects/builds/part reviews so on and if I ever have a question I need an account to post. I don't take a lot of pictures of my cars so I am sharing one a photographer took...
  16. Las Vegas new bill in effect October 1st for modified vehicles

Saw a video recently (maybe a couple weeks ago) on Youtube of a guy in Nevada getting pulled over by NHP and cited his (believe it was a Subaru) "illegal exhaust" using that new law. I was trying to find the video. If I find it I will share it.
