    Owners Manual = Limit Manufacturer's Liability = Instruct Owner to Never Push Engine Hard. The Owners Manual's opinions on engine break-ins are unfortunately one of the worst resources. I've generally ascribed to the philosophies detailed below, make sure the engine gets some good loads on it...

    I'm opting in for it regardless as I feel it's worth the money to me with or without the collision mitigation. Just figured this feature would be hyped just as much as all the other hype? :shrug: Will ask the dealer for clarification later today when he confirms my order and let you know.

    Thanks! If the Mustang will actually apply the brakes autonomously like other systems then the option is absolutely worth the money. I just assumed it didn't feature this since no one has really talked about it though, just assumed it instead worked passively as the beginning of your post...
