So every year, we have to pass a safety inspection here in Spain, and one of the tests is a braking test on each axle individually.
The car gets put on some mechanical rollers, and you have to slowly apply the brakes until, they lock up and they take a measurement.
My fronts lock up no problem...
Anyone know if there is a difference in the calibration between the two other than the bump in rev limit? I've got the FP2 calibration loaded on mine with the GT350 intake and throttle body, but i'm going to be fitting the GT350 manifold, and want to know if its worth finding a FP3 calibration...
Anyone know if the IMRC valves are interchangeable between a 2017 GT and and GT350 manifold? Just received my GT350 manifold with both electrical connectors at the back and are completely destroyed, so hoping I can just re-use the ones on the GT manifold.
Just wondering if there is a reason all the aftermarket companies don't put a flex joint into the there long tube headers where ford does have one?
I feel, if ford put one there, they must have a good reason, so i'm looking at adding them to my kooks long tubes before i fit them.
Anyone know if the ford adjustable camber plates as the ones that come in the Mach1 and GT500 track pack can be used in regular GT models? Or are the springs on these models completely different?
I'm basically wanting to run these on a set of KW V3 coilovers on my GT if possible.
So, i've had the Airlift 3P system on my car for a couple of months now, and am trying to fix a horrible bounce i'm getting.
I started with the dampers and air pressures at what is recommended in the manual (55/75 psi front/rear and dampers set to 15 clicks), and honestly, found it quite stiff...
So i've currently got the ford performance touring exhaust with the GT350 rear valance, but would really like to fit active mufflers. Not bothered about having them integrated to different modes, just want a simple 12V on off switch for quiet and loud.
Can't find any used GT350 mufflers...
Has anyone had and issue where you are not getting a reading from the steering wheel angle sensor?
I only noticed it when i put the car in reverse and the guide line that turns with the steering wheel would turn. So i plugged in my ForScan tool and there is no reading coming from the steering...
So i got my car back from body shop after it took them 6 months to fix it. And after going through the car i've noticed a couple of things.
The first is the seal / grommet on the passenger door that gives you access to the screw for the door handle. I've tried to find it on a couple of different...
Anyone know who makes a cheap set of fender flares like the speedkore ones for our cars? Literally only need it to stick on the car for a couple of hours to pass a tech inspection as where I live no part of the wheel or tire is allowed to stick out beyond the wheel arch
Couple of things I've found with my air lift performance system.
First is, that when going from my max ride height (getting in and out of the garage) at 95 psi in all 4 corners to normal ride height, the system doesn't reach ride height at the first attempt. My normal ride height is set to 50...
I had my radiator replaced by the body shop fixing my car as they say it had some small damage to it, and i noticed after picking it up that there are 2 bolt holes that look like something should be attached to it, but they are telling me there was nothing there, so would just like to check with...
Am i right in saying the GT500 and the Mach 1 rear valance are the same? They look the same from pictures but can anyone confirm they are the same part number?
Has anyone compared the internals of the 2018 composite sump vs the 2017 stamped steel ones?
At $110 if the internals have been improved for better windage and oil control, and the higher oil volume (Is it 10 quarts?) i'm considering it as a cheap improvement to the oiling system of the mustang...
So, if I installed the steeda rlca bearings, and wanted to go back to stock, do you have to buy the entire lower control arm? Can’t seem to find anywhere the ability to buy the stock rubber bearings.
Anybody know what the size is of the air tank that comes with the airlift performance 3P kit? I mean dimensions, not volume. I need to check to see if it will fit in the spare wheel area.
Thanks!
Which are the best, most reliable, and OEM looking turn signal out there.
I would like them to operate as DRL's and then switch to turn signal when indicating. Not fussed with the sequential turn signal part.
Only issue is i need them to work on an EU mustang.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
