Hello all, so I had a weird thing happen to me today and it’s still fecked lol
drove to work today in the mustang. Everything was fine throughout the entire drive and into parking. Shut off the car, opened the door and the radio stayed on. I thought it was weird but also thought ok maybe it’ll...
I know the tank needs to vent some and just need to order the part. Just would like to see if I have any other options in the meantime?
Also y’all think this dent in the oil pan is of any concern? Seems small enough and no leaks. Just never taken one off so don’t know what everything looks...
Anyone ever do this yourself with a magnetic car or other metallic?
My 2015 has the infamous hood cancer, which ford denied. I really have no intention on going with a carbon fiber hood, nor do I want to pay for a brand new hood. I would rather paint it myself as I know if I get it repainted by...
Hey y'all,
Recently swapped out my intake manifold due to the common issue of an imrc shaft breaking which was causing some misfires. Now the misfires were probably occuring for quite a while, but they never threw a code. Right before the spring, it started throwing the common cyl 8 misfire and...
Hey y'all ever since i've installed my 2018 IM and Steeda 114mm Open CAI the car has not idled well. Even dies on occasion. Granted I still am sending in datalogs to finalize the tune but its still the same issue, so I'm not sure if the further tuning will fix it or if something else is awry...
Ok so mods I did were ARH headers, ported 2018 intake (lockouts are currently installed), and steeda open Proflow 114 mm. As of right now I only have AEDs base tune but can’t really datalog until I get these issues resolved. I’ll reach out to Shaun after I figure out the following issue.
Now a...
Hey guys, haven’t posted in a while.
i currently have ARHs cat back and am trying to find a way to combine both so I don’t have to fork over $$$ for another full system or convert to xpipe.
anyone else encountered anything similar, have solutions? What headers would mate with my current...
I’m looking to finally buy a set for my car as my control arms are currently inverted from me installing my ohlins setup.
I’m inclined to go with the bearings over bushings. However I’m not necessarily willing to transfer the fatigue the bushings absorb to something less easily replaceable...
Anyone see any real data between these 4 options I've seen around? Not sure who to go with, won't be going VMP because their pricing is way out there compared to the rest.
Warranty is finally up and i'm starting to purchase my engine mods, of which will be a ported 2018 intake retaining IMRC...
So I tried looking for anything on 2 inch headers and know ARH sells them but have no idea if their beneficial or not? Supporting mods will be all NA, ported 2018 intake, cai, and AED tune or similar. Any other beneficial 93 octane NA mods?
So I’ve owned this car for a few days shy of 5 years now and I just got this message and the car wouldn’t start. First time ever happening, finally decided to move the steering wheel and it started but still seems weird. Don’t know why it happened in the first place?
So I’ve searched around and it’s been difficult to find a solid answer on what the oem part number is for the rear pads. I don’t really trust the Ford parts sites to give me the right part as they don’t even show the right part number for the front brakes when I plug in my VIN and there’s about...
Hello all, been a while since I made a thread. My car has about 50k on it and I’ve noticed a vibration at highway speeds. Now the first and obvious culprit is likely my tires which have near 30k on them (Bridgestone Re11s)
I’ll be replacing them soon but would like to brainstorm some other...
As the total says, I’ve been wondering whether I should swap the fluid in the transmission? I know after a certain point it’s best not to do anything beyond refilling what is in the pan. I.e. to almost never do a flush.
So, apparently a complete clutch failure that has actual damage to it and not worn isn't covered under the powertrain warranty. Seems pretty ridiculous to me. Also, cost is supposedly $2800. I assume that includes a flywheel or some resurfacing or something like that. Don't have pictures yet...
So with the discontinuation of one the very best dual purpose tires (DD/occasional track day& autox tire), for those that have driven on the RE11...what do you think of the new MPS4S?
Of tires that have the same level of grip as the RE11 and longevity, the Michelin’s seem like the only real...
The company has been very quiet about advertising this thing in the US but it’s finally viewable on the website. Is anyone selling this thing yet, when is it going to be released?
Ok so I'm researching on a set of c/o's I want. However they maintain the Oem rear spring location, which is fine. The problem is the spring rate they offer is far too low. If I go with their coilovers, I will probably just forgo their rear spring option and just use their damper.
I saw Sock...
Ok so now we get down to the suspension part of my mods that I'm looking to do.
To the point, it looks like from everything I've read the JRZ Pros are pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Performance without sacrificing comfort and giving me the dual adjustability that I want. The only...
Ok so I have the cradle lockout and diff lockout still sitting in my garage waiting to be put on from like a year ago:eyebulge:. I want to buy more stuff so I can be one and done lol I'm not too interested in extra chassis bracing that's just going to add weight.
I'm not a drag racer, I will...
