  4. p06b8 code after swapping engine harness.

I just got an old connector and wired it in. i am 95% sure that all of my wiring is correct. It was the fuel sensor. The harness i got had the single wire fuel switch and i needed to put the 3 wired fuel sensor in. I just spliced the wires together. The gauge works fine meaning that it’s got to...

I recently swapped engine harnesses and got a new code: p06b8. I had to switch the oil pressure connector to a different one, and the car thinks it has low oil pressure (i’ve tested it, it doesn’t). Maybe a faulty connector triggered it? i don’t really know. Any help is appreciated

  8. Oil Pressure Switch to Oil Pressure Sensor Conversion

I determined that because i have both harnesses. My mustang is a performance pack already but the harness was bad, so i had to get a new harness. 9. Oil Pressure Switch to Oil Pressure Sensor Conversion

I’m currently in the process of doing the same thing. Pin 48 is used for the non-performance pack oil pressure switch, so the grey would have to go into 57. Did you just tap into existing wires for the other 2? that’s what i’m going to try to do.

  16. Is swapping a gen 3 intake manifold onto a gen 2 motor worth it?

I’ve been seeing a lot of people swapping the gen 3 manifold onto gen2 coyotes and was wondering if it would be worth it at all. from my understanding, you get a little more horse power at the expense of low end torque. low end torque is definitely my preference, but is the decrease really...

I just bought a rebuilt 2016 Mustang GT premium with a Performance package, and I need to replace the engine wiring harness.
