  1. Thinking of selling my car for a Raptor.

You will be lucky to get 45k out of it imho. Mod=money pit. You definitely caught the bug.
  2. Alex Flores broke shift forks on camera

Have you seen this vdeo of a V6 mustang (supercharged with nitrous) beat tuned GTR? Even even had two passengers in the car. The V6 can handle more power more reliably even with stock bottom end then what has been seen with the 4pot eccoburst. The S550 is too heavy of a car to have a 4pot imho.
  3. Do I need to break in my new 18...

I would drive it normally but avoid full drag strip mode and a tune at least for 1k miles.
  4. Magnetic gray lowered

I didn't think the new GT's would benefit a whole lot with lowering springs like previous gens, but it appears this not only looks good but also should add to the IRS set up and reduce squatting. How do they ride? notice any difference?
  5. 3.15 vs 3.55?

What I get from this discussion it seems the 3.15 gearing might be a better fit for long term use especially if your looking to plop a super charger or turbo in it. It seems it would definately run a little stronger in the standing mile or quarter mile pushing 700+hp. From a roll it will be...
  6. 2018 GT PP1 : delayed throttle response

Could be the gas, trying putting some 93 octane in it. I think a simple tune with 93 octane should cure it. It should wake up the car and give you the throttle response you are looking for.
  7. Ford Axing all cars except Mustang and Focus Active Crossover in North America

Yes and Yes. Keep a nameplate and improved it. This has been the key to sustained growth and market presence to build a product that has a good past that can be trusted in the public eye. Ford killed that with so many different models and names that got thrown away and other reliability...
  8. Ford Axing all cars except Mustang and Focus Active Crossover in North America

Agree to a lot of this said. Declining sales of sedans overall across brands is another important fact that Ford actually made this decision a while ago not to invest in new designs in the loosing battle. The Camry has so much discounts on the hood that Ford not only has a product slightly...
  9. GT350 as a daily driver?

I think you are all missing my point. Driving it to work, or putting it in parking lots around where I live would be very foolish. I have had my car hit 3 different times. You can buy a little old Honda Civic or something not to worry about in the traffic around here and the crazy drivers...
  10. GT350 as a daily driver?

^^Heck no. Why would you DD this car. This is a limited production special offering with a unique engine design. It needs to be babied and taken out only on special occasions. Especially in winter climate with snow and all the elements. Just get a DD with good FE. It will be that much more...
  11. New Shelby GT350 Mustang Revealed! 5.2L Flat Plane Crank V8, 500+HP / 400 LB-FT

This GT350 has a exclusive unique Flat Plane crank engine and somebody complains that because it has a Shelby name on it they don't want to pay the admission? Give me a break. This is a limited production unique car that will hold its value in the long run. I would venture it could inspire...
  12. 2015 Mustang GT Versus 2015 BMW M4 Comparison

Personally, the M4 is better in pretty much every way you slice it. However, lets compare cars that cost similarly and the S550 GT still has a strong card to play.
  13. 2015 Mustang GT Versus 2015 BMW M4 Comparison

It appears based on some decent reviews that this S550 Mustang is slow compared to direct competition. It's too fat as I thought. Aftermarket support will be key to run a 12 second flat time to be close to the M4. The Gt350 better be a 11.5 second car or at least under 12 seconds right out...
  14. is 400hp on the V8 realistic with...

^^Precisely, and to make up for the weight gain of the S550 I surely hope there is solid tunes and more aftermarket support to get easy HP gains since it appears on paper the S550 isn't any faster then the S197 with the weight gain and not enough HP gain to bridge the gap. I hate fat cars...
  15. 2015 mustang vs Challenge Hellcat

It has the bad azz look nailed. If it wasn't such a battle ship carrier then a fighting plane, I would have been all over it. 4500lbs is quite ridiculous.
  16. Ecoboost vs Focus St: Pure Fun Factor

The GTI does cost a tad more then the Fiesta ST, but yea the redesigned GTI does offer more space. The other cars really only the Genesis Coupe and 370z would primarily be competitors based on performance and price and of course the Camaro and Challenger. The Camaro is going on the Zeta...
  17. Ecoboost vs Focus St: Pure Fun Factor

That is a good point. The EB Mustang has a decent amount of trunk space that is said to be able to fit two golf bags. The rear seat is less cramped then previous version so it might be comparable to some hot hatches. Also, it will have a conservative EPA rating probably around 30 highway or...
  18. GT350 vs. Z/28

Change the tires out on the Z28 and order the radio and you got a DD;) Not that I am voting for you to buy one. I am more interested in a car that costs less and isn't a fat porker with a cartoon looking non retro pieced together car. Something that resembles Elanor my dream car in GT350...
  19. 2015 Mustang will be included in Road and Track 2014 Performance Car of the Year Test

Not even close the stand outs will be the GT3 and the Ferrari 458 Speciale. However, it's nice they got there hands on a new S550. As many said, it better be a GT with the PP. It would be nice if they also have an EB with the PP as well.
  20. All 2015+ Mustang S550 renders / chops compilation

Not bad, love the lights, the blue makes the car look slightly meaner;) Elanor Elanor Elanor, that is what I have been dreaming of for a while. This silver isn't shiny enough though. Needs that almost stainless steel look to set it apart from boring silver. Otherwise, love it.:ford:
