I purchased a 2016 GT350 with 2100 miles from an independent dealer. My local Ford Dealer sold me a 20K/48 month Ford Protect Powertrain warranty. Is there a difference between the Ford Protect and ESP warranty's, or are they the same thing?

My 2016 had 2100 miles on it last month when I bought it. The dealer had it for 6 months and the manager put most of that on it. They got it with 64 miles on it from the original owner. It's cherry.

Ford performance sold the crate engines that were available, and I thought these were out of production. Are the producing limited runs of new engines just for warranty replacements?
