I paid -$800 for each project (including inserts painted in gloss black). Royal Crimson is really 4-step paint job, not 3. I then repainted inserts in Mach 1 Magnetic Grey out of spray cans sold by LMR ($50 for 2 cans).
Unsolicited advise:
Good paint job will not be cheap. But unless you are a professional painter, ask a pro to do it.
Installation is not difficult. Watch inspection videos a few times, walk through the process in your head and proceed carefully. Don’t hesitate to ask. Be always willing to stop...
The "posts" in the above posting refer to the attachment posts for turn signal assemblies. They are found both on the bumper cover and side vent inserts, if I remember correctly.
It's probably good, but I cannot be sure.
Make sure to check the corners of the side vent inserts. They, especially aftermarket ones, crack very easily during assembly / disassembly.
Also, pay close attention to the posts for screws. The screws that came with my aftermarket kits seemed...
777 bumper cover.
Upper grille and side vent inserts are 777.
Lower grille insert is OEM.
The emblem is the one for 65 Shelby, repainted and fixed with custom-made bracket.
You may want to make sure that the particular aftermarket conversion kit is a precise copy. I know that the 777 kit is really well made. And I suspect that the no-brand kit I bought on eBay prior to the 777 one may have been made the same manufacturer. But I cannot really comment on the one...
It is not really difficult per se. But it takes precision, plenty of work space and act of bravery. I laid both bumper covers (OEM and 777) on the floor (if after painting, make sure to use large styrofoam sheet or some thing to protect the paint, of course) side by side then, first, marked...
777 YouTube video for Mach 1 bumper cover installation is pretty much applicable to the OME one and also describes the removal process. However, I disagree to what they instruct for the use of support brackets (JR3Z-17C947-B and JR3Z-17C947-C) -- which go in the "jaw joint" parts of the bumper...
One more thing...
I recommend getting extra U-nuts (W704823-S439), belly pan screws (W715060-S450B), wheel well rivets (W714040-S300).
Also the screws 777 provides (I lease when I purchased the kit) for fixing turn signal assembly seem too big -- will likely crack the bracket. I would...
Diode Dynamics' 15-17 turn signal assemblies (and most likely cheaper LED units on eBay too) will work the OME Mach 1 bumper cover. The Diode Dynamics may be stopping the production though. Units with smoked lens are still available on the net, but clear-lens model is out of production and...
You are welcome.
I had a lot of fun describing what I enjoyed working on! Double fun!
Just one more thing. Remember that the choice of OEM or 777 pretty much determines which turn signal assemblies to be used. Real Mach 1 uses the less functional 2015-17 turn signal/park light assembly. 777...
Thank you for the complement on my cars.
When I first started looking into Mach 1 conversion, I didn't know that Mach 1 face could be purchased. So I bought a kit from eBay (which I have never installed but used some parts of it) and then another one from 777. Later, I found this forum's...
Mach 1 bumper parts can also be purchased from many online Ford part stores if you have part numbers.
Part numbers can be found on this page:

The part list on the page does not seem...
There was a compete face of Mach 1 for sale for $1,300 (I believe that's what I paid) on this forum.
It was taken off of a Mach 1 damaged during transport and still had protective vinyl strips attached to it.
The forum member who sold it to me was planning on converting his GT but ended up...
I have two EcoBoost Mustangs converted with Mach 1 faces, one with real Mach 1's face (with the turn signal bracket modified to accommodate Diode Dynamics units with fog lamps) and the other one with Triple Seven Performance's Mach 1 face. The Triple Seven's kit is identical to the real Mach 1...
Hi,
Do you still have this for sale?
Would you take $1200 for it?
I am currently out of the country on a project and won't be coming back until mid-late November.
Would you be able to keep it until I come back?
If the above is acceptable, I can make a downpayment (maybe $200) now by PayPal and...
