I sure will. I wish I would have used you guys' expertise several thousand earlier buuuuuut. I will buy some jack stands and unplug the control connector. If it works I will definitely pass it forward. I dont want anybody else to go through this BS. I also read in another thread that guys have...
ok I read the thread. So if Im reading it correctly what was done is just remove the alternator connector and the car will run perfectly. Is that correct?
Thanks for the help Cobra Jet. Imma dial it in. I went to the auto electrical shop today that's near me but they don't speak any english. They are supposed to be really good so Im gonna take one of my kids back over there to tell them what I need because they grew up speaking spanish and are fluent.
Yeah Thanks Tonymustang302, but Im in New Jersey. I about to go to and auto electrical shop today and talk to them and see if they can do exactly what I want. Keep you guys posted. Sorry for flippin out about this I just want to drive the car. Its been two years and its still in the garage.
Yeh I realize that. So now I'm looking for a good speed shop in north Jersey. Thats gonna be hard cause everybody says they can fix the car but thats usually not the case.
Got ya. And I understand. I really don't want to take the car back to them. Honestly I also think that in this area there are not alot of these cars so finding technicians with advance car knowledge is hard to find. My wife is a manager at a mercedes dealership and she has told me many times...
The car has a new battery and a new alternator and a new PCM. According to the service advisor the technician did not find any broken wires. However Ive been researching this issue via internet and found a write up from ford itself that says if the Gencomm wire has an open the PCM will not be...
Yeah, I'm learning this unfortunately.
So I go back to the dealership and let them know that I have put in a claim at Ford corporate. Now they are mad at me, but from my perspective they just charged me $2300 and assured me it was the gateway and PCM modules only to have the car do the exact...
Update: So the PCM was changed out and the gateway module. Reflashed and the Lund tune was uploaded.During the drive home the battery light came on twice. Called them to let them know. I was told they would get back to me. NO CALLS BACK SINCE TEN DAYS AGO. The car is worst now than when I gave...
Q. Has anybody had a PCM go bad? I contacted Lund and was told that dont use the SCT devices anymore so now I'm forced to try the SCT hand held device that has the original tune which they are saying may be locked to the original PCM. WTF!!!!
Hey guys. Just an update. The cars voltage was spiking up to 16vdc. So I flatbedded the car to the dealership. So now the car is at the dealership again. Now I'm being told that its the PCM and the gateway module. Total 2K. And because the car has been supercharged I had to take my handheld to...
yeah I had an agm battery but went to ford and got the battery that goes in the GT which is a better battery. I was looking at alldata and it looks like the command signal wire go to a connector before they go to the ecu. Im gonna check that connector and keep you guys posted.
Yeh, that's gonna be a problem. The car has a lund tune and is supercharged. Not sure if they reflash the ECU I'll be able to upload the Lund tune back. Also what is the correct BMS reset for the GT350
Yeah I took it to the dealership. They had a Shelby guy there. He said the A,B wire pins at the alternator were pushed out so he pushed them back in. The car drove for a few days only to do the same thing again.
I'm thinking it may be the alternator plug
Hi guys I have a 2017 GT350R. It has about 8300 miles on it. I haven't been able to drive the car because the charging system voltage is sometime as high as 16VDC. I 've been told I have an open A, B signal which I believe are the comm wires from ECU to alternator and vice versa. Anyway the car...
Hi guys I'm having sort of the same issue. Two dealers and two auto electrical shops in. I'm still having the same issue. I'm on my third alternator and same issue.
My problem is that the voltage some time goes too high causing the dash lights to dim. I've seen as high as 16.1V and nobody seems...
