Crank censor replacement did not work. 💩
The third mechanic thought it could be happening because of solenoid and took $1.5K for solenoid replacement. (Then suggested to replace cam gears and chain for $4K, but I don't wanna go that route because I am sure it started after the clutch and the...
Crank position sensor replacement did not work. Still getting P3000, P3003, P3004.
Btw for refresh, the initial incident was getting a new clutch and lighter flywheel after the destruction of the clutch and flywheel which was caused by letting the clutch go too early at high RPM.
Someone...
I guess it really depends on the scenario.
It makes sense, 100%. The way the previous clutch died in a destructive way. The driver changed the gear at 6K rpm and let the clutch go too early. Kaboom.
First mechanic who replaced the clutch said when they opened it clutch pieces and dust fell on...
try resetting Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Connection (MMNPC) reset (using ForScan)
I think its happening because light flywheel makes crankshaft spins too fast and moves the away from the combustion-ready position. If thats the case a new tune would work.
fwiw Mine has 91-93 lund tune...
buyer beware McLeod rst clutch kit's light flywheel causes misfires. Did several crank relearns and Misfire Monitor Profile Neutral Position sensor reset still misfiring.
You may end up in a nightmare.
You dont need to take it to mechanic for Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Connection (MMNPC) reset.
You can download Forscan app. You can get 2 months free trial licence or pay $12 to get 1 year license.
You would need to by the OBDI connector with HS/MS switch...
good, now I now that you are sane person, and you know I am an idiota.
btw I am hoping you would come up with a thought of making that template into a product that you can trademark and market? so many people would buy that.
just got the mishi radiator installed (while installing powerwashed the mildly clogged ac condenser)
after putting everything back on, CHT was 212F on idle (wtf) when the hood was open.
Intake temp was 110F (its inside the bumper).
I took it for a 3-4K rpm test drive and it reached to 224F. 😒...
911 is just a beetle. Clarkson convinced me.
on the other hand S550.1 and S550.2 are absolutely sexiest. mustang gets more panties down.
I love its cold starts, and revving as horn for years. I love when my HPDE instructor (who had a 911) shit his pants and look for places to hold on turn exists.
exact same thing happened to my procharged one
at track it showed 270F. pulled over and cooled it down, and then continued HPDEing with 230F.
now it idles at 210F. fwiw weather was 95F, and air inlet was 110F (inside the bumper)
I get that, but everyone knows 911s, caymans, m4s, rs5s even GOLF Rs have zero cooling issues.
All porsche guys at the track talk about their times and seconds.
All mustang guys at track talk about cooling lol.
The pp radiator (with procharger stage 2 kit) gave me 266F cylinder head temp warning on Sebring while outside was 93F.
So had to pull over and rest for 20 mins to cool down. then had to keep it on higher gear which made the car drive lame, slower.
I got a performance radiator from mishimoto...
