I have for sale a set of OEM Mach 1 "PP2" wheels and tires off of a 2021 Mach 1 Premium. There is nothing wrong with these wheels, I am only selling to help offset medical expenses from an injury I sustained late last year.
The rims are "PP2" style, but are about 1-inch thinner than true PP2...
I have for sale a set of PP1 wheels and tires off of a 2016 Mustang GT. The tires have roughly 3500 miles on them including one 20 minute track session (low paced rain conditions). There is nothing wrong with these wheels, I am only selling to help offset medical expenses from an injury I...
I have a brand new, never installed 20-22 GT500 VMP by PWR 81MM supercharger Intercooler Race Core Brick for sale. There is nothing wrong with this part; I am selling this and other parts to help offset medical expenses from an accident I had in November. This part has only been out of the...
I have a brand new, never installed Livernois Ultra-Performance Heat Exchanger/Radiator for the 20-22 GT500 for sale. The radiator also comes with Livernois' black machined aluminum mounting brackets. There is nothing wrong with these parts; I am selling these and other parts to help offset...
I have a brand new, never installed VMP Billet Fuel Rail kit for the 20-22 GT500 for sale. There is nothing wrong with these parts; I am selling this and many other parts to help offset medical expenses from an accident I had in November. The parts have only been out of the shipping box to take...
This has Sold.
I have a practically new, briefly installed 1320 Junkie WD152 High Flow Intake System for the 20-22 GT500 for sale. The system was installed on my 500 for roughly 150 miles before I removed it to have some unrelated electrical warranty work done by Ford. I never got around to...
Hi all, this post is to share some carbon fiber additions my wife and I did on our Magnetic 2020 CFTP GT500. In the fall of last year, we ordered the Anderson Composite carbon fiber hood, along with their fenders, which arrived at our doorstep around the end of January. Over the past several...
This has been a roughly 6 month waiting project (waiting 1 month for cage, 1 month for rear seat delete kit, 1 month for powder coat, 3 months for 2027 harness), but I finally installed my Watson cage this week. The ultimate goal was to be able to utilize a HANS/Harness system out on track, as I...
Hi All,
Does anyone happen to know what the new, unused brake pad material thickness of the OEM GT500 brake pad is (fronts in particular)? I failed to measure mine before the first track weekend and am trying to get an idea of what my mm burn rate is per track day on this car. Thanks!
Finally, we got a dry track weekend and a first true opportunity to really start pushing our 2020 GT500 around MSR Houston since we got it in December of last year (we attempted a track weekend in January with it that was OK, but it rained most of the time đź‘Ž). Since that time, I've been pretty...
I attended the Mach 1 track attack last week, which I understand was the fourth Mach 1 event to date.
The experience was a lot of fun and got to meet some great people! The instructors and folks running the school are top notch. In my opinion, its worth the trip out to do it.
As a side note -...
Hi All,
I was giving the Mach 1 a deep detailing today and noticed what appears to be a small area of bubbling under the paint of the passenger door by the stripe. I regularly clean this car after track events and am 100% sure this was not here a month ago.
Full disclaimer - as I just...
Our Mach 1 demanded an oil change at 3000 miles following it's 10th track day and about 1,000 track miles overall.
The oil change was straightforward and thankfully, there is nothing exciting to report. However, given the amount of track abuse this car has had since day one, I thought it would...
For anyone that tracks a lot, or does any frequent work otherwise involving wheel removal/wheel detailing, I've come to find these wheel guides from Caliperfexion to be extremely handy, especially given how difficult it is to see inside of the deep lug holes on the Mach 1 HP birdnest wheels when...
Hey All,
I got the Mach 1 out again this past weekend at MSR Houston. For the first time, all of my equipment from a recording standpoint cooperated, so I FINALLY have a decent video to share. As some of you may know, this car was originally a base Mach 1 and is currently in the process of...
Update: Photos of the painted and installed spoiler have been posted further in this thread
I thought this might be helpful confirming information for anyone thinking of replacing their base Mach 1 spoiler with the HP/GT500 spoiler.
My OEM GT500 spoiler and Gurney Flap arrived over the weekend...
We got the Mach 1 and 2016 GT (with a fresh, 500 mile old clutch) out to the track again this weekend at MSR Houston. This time I was armed with a GoPro Camera that lasted more than 2 minutes and captured more than just a cool down lap! The car is in track mode for this session. I apologize in...
UPDATE FROM INITIAL POST:
Well, the Mach 1 thrived and survived it's first track day...it had about 150 miles of track time in total and 200 miles are now on the odometer. It drank about 5 to 7 mpg on aggressive laps and 10-ish MPG on less aggressive warmup/cool down laps. I didn't have time...
Hi All,
This afternoon, my stock, unmodified GT500 with 800 miles on it threw a check engine light. I put a code reader on it and got P0202 - Cylinder 2 Injector A Circuit.
The Ford service manual lists the possible causes for P202 as follows:
"The comprehensive component monitor (CCM)...
