well...
I've had quite a bit of adjustment done. I had parking sensors installed at the front and rear. (for the misses) Also updated from Sync 2 to Sync 3.4. This, among other things, makes the parking sensors visible on the screen. optically and acoustically. This had quite a few issues...
In any case, thank you very much for your efforts so far
When toasted the fog light indication transistor, it wouldn't burn during testing, would it? or?
Well..
just reconnected battery. lights out first.
Then BMS reset.
Battery indication flashed neatly 3x
Unfortunately.... no indication :(
Still having to reset everything I was afraid of: Language...Bar / psi. ..Sync.
I'm even more afraid of all the previous failures...rear window...
thanks for your extensive answer Boyd 👍
I just realized that when resetting the faults via OBD, there was also a test mode.
The fog lamp indicator came indeed on !!
With sweat in my hands i will disconnect the battery again ( with the lights on,)
Or first disconnect and then light on...
and what is the difference?
starting with jumper cables or a starting aid.
I also don't quite understand wy disconnect the negative pole and connect 9V to it and then go the entire night without voltage WITH the light on ..to reset?
no,
I was a bit shocked at how many problems there were after changing the battery.
Spent hours trying to get most of it working again. Perhaps unnecessary, and resets itself after a long drive. But hope there is another way.
Battery in and out within 15 minutes
I can try that.. thx
it's 23.00 pm here now. Tomorrow I will add some photos first.
maybe you see something else that can help
Thank you very much so far👍
Thanks guys,
when I turn on the fog lights, my normal lights are on. low beam (?)
If it was a fuse they wouldn't work at all right? Now I just don't see the indication.
Here in Holland it is an inspection item, the indication must work.
With the high beams on, I can also turn on the fog...
Thank you very much for the tip Tried it right away, with ignition on, with ignition off, and with moror on, motor off, unfortunately no results.
Fog lights turn on and off, but no indication is visible
Anyone familiar with the many sudden malfunctions after a dead battery? I have been able to reset most of them (no window heating, no passenger seat heating, ventilation, etc. but... I have no fog lamp indication in my dashboard. The fog lights (front and rear) do work. How do I get them visible...
