  1. What do you guys think about the new Stingray Corvette?

First off, I gotta say I love the fact this forum is full of car enthusiasts and not a bunch of fan boys. My biggest gripe with my old Camaro forum was that there were WAY too many fan boys (there were good, classy car guys too). But I couldn't stand the blind hate against other makes/models...
  2. V8 Engine Cylinder Deactivation?

The Camaro has it, however it is only the on the L99 engine (V8 with automatic transmission) So if you are a stick driver its nothing to worry about. I'm also fairly certain it only deactivates cylinders when you are at a steady cruise above a certain speed , i.e. highway driving.

True about the louvers! But the side indicators were required by law in 1968, it was a vehicle lighting mandate. Its possible that owners swapped them for prior year quarter panels for a cleaner look, but by law they had to come off the manufacturers line with them edit: Anyone know if Shelby's...

68's are supposed to have rear quarter panel indicators, that is most likely a 67 in the picture. But the body shape is the same I believe:coolphotos:
  8. Introduce yourself!!

Hey all, I'm on here to check all the new hype and rumors about the 2015 Mustang! mostly the GT. I grew up in a 1968 convertible, spent a year on the road traveling from WA state to San Diego in that car when i was just a boy. My all time favorite is the 1968 California Special (which is was...
