  1. So excited about the Performance Pack Level 2

It may get me back into a Mustang! :) In 1992, I sold my 1984 Camaro Z28 H.O. L69 for a 1987 Mustang GT 5-speed. Next car was a 1995 Mustang GT 5-speed, and then in Dec 2004 I ordered an '05 GT 5-speed. Kept the '05 for 10 years as a daily driver, and took it to HPDE track days once a year...
  2. HD radio - what is it?

for those who have the 401A option, what do you think of the HD radio? Does every station broadcast HD? Does it get rid of static on AM radio? Does the FM sound as good as CD or MP3? When you tune stations, can you specify only HD stations?
  3. Saw one today - finally - test drive tomorrow

Crest Ford in Niantic CT has a Magnetic GT Premium 6-speed. Just came in yesterday. I stopped in today to look at a 2015 for the first time in person. Hate to sound redundant, but what everyone says is true - it does look better in person than the pictures on the Internet. To me, it's...
  4. Cross-shopping the S550 GT with a BMW M235i

I have owned my 2005 GT since it was new almost 10 years ago. Prior to that I owned a 1995 Mustang GT, and prior to that a 1987 Mustang GT. So I'm definitely a big fan. I paid MSRP for the 2005 GT, $27,455. I went to the Ford website and built a 2015 GT Premium with the PP, Premium...
  5. MyFord Touch scrapped?

Just saw this in the news - Ford to drop the Microsoft MyFord Touch system and replace it with a Blackberry unit in use by VW, GM, BMW, and others. http://blog.caranddriver.com/ford-dropping-microsoft-based-infotainment-to-adopt-blackberry-unit/ Maybe just a rumor now, but if true, I'd...
  6. 2014 Nissan Nismo 370Z vs Mustang

A review on topspeed.com concludes that the 2014 Nismo beats both the Mustang and Camaro on the track. It didn't specify the 2015 Mustang, but I would be surprised if this car even beats the current Mustang 5.0. The guy doesn't show any proof so maybe it's just his gut feel. Or a...
  7. skip-shift "feature"?

My 2005 GT does not have the skip-shift feature of course, but I understand the 2011+ models do have the feature. This is the feature that forces a 1-4 upshift at low speeds, when the driver attempts to shift to 2nd gear. Is this a certainty on the 2015 GT?
