    u could open out that area {cut open}on the hood which is what i did, and on the plastic scoop as well.

    I Dremel mine out on both the driver & passenger side, and also open the fake/seal hood vent scoop for heat extraction out of the engine bay. I did have to cover /secure some wire harness from getting wet.

    I keep my car's on a battery charger because they are not driven daily and after 7yrs on one off the car the battery is still strong at 14_Volts.
