I owned a 2020 C8 - exhaust was one of the more disappointing aspects of an otherwise great car, then again, I was coming from a Hellcat. With that said I think exhaust sound can be very subjective.

LMAO, let's not pretend their hasn't been any QC issues with the GR86/BRZ. There has been plenty of reported incidents of blown motors along with the well documented RTV issue with little to no action by Toyota or Subaru, probably just a lot of internal finger pointing between the 2 companies...
