I just updated the listing...sorry about that :-) I just posted $200 obo on the tuner, not really sure what it's worth but that seemed like a fair asking price. PM me if you want to discuss price and shipping costs. Thanks!
Any chance you could share the DWG for this? I'd like to print a pair on a 3D printer (or try to). I tried searching to see if you already have shared it but had no luck.
I got the JL Audio Stealthbox and 500W JL amp installed. I then used Forscan to turn off the bass roll off. The addition of the subwoofer makes a massive improvement to the overall sound quality. I need to spend some time setting up the amp and various levels but thus far I'm exceedingly...
I was going to tap into the rear speakers to provide the signal to the amp (line level input). If I understand correctly, doing that along with the Forscan change to 727-01-02 making it 0000 instead 0200 would remove the bass roll off. Is that your understanding as well? If I need an LOC, I...
Thanks, appreciate the advice. I am getting the JL Audio Stealthbox and 500W JL amp. I figured I'll put some sound deadening in the trunk area while I'm installing it...probably the spare tire well, trunk lid, and possibly the metal around the sub location.
I plan to deaden the doors no...
I should have the JL Audio sub this week. Once that's installed, I plan to deaden the door skins and trunk. Since I'll have the doors apart, it seems like a good time to upgrade the speakers. I've read a ton of threads on this and it's still a bit confusing with all the different Ohm ratings...
Please post back with your results...I saw a JBL sub for that space but reviews said it wouldn't fit. I'm not familiar with Rockville but if you are only trying to fill in some of the lows, that might just do the trick and that space is already kind of wasted. Good luck!
Thanks, that’s good advice and fairly easy to do. I have a feeling this is going to spiral pretty quickly…but I do like to listen to good audio as much as the exhaust note!
That’s another option, let us know what you think of you go that route. I think I have a used Stealthbox and amp lined up…will post back with results once it’s up and running.
Using Forscan software and an ODB2 dongle you can change a value in the module that controls that function. Search “remove bass clipping” and some threads should show up. I can find some links later today and share. It’s easy to do if you’re comfortable with the process.
I tried the Forscan change yesterday, it does seem to help a bit but not much (to my ears anyway). The rear deck speakers are really poor so maybe turning off the bass clipping and replacing those speakers would help. I have a line on a used sub and plan to try that first and go from there.
I have a 2018 Premium GT with the 9 speaker system. I've disconnected the center dash speaker which made a pretty dramatic improvement. Now, I'd like to add some bass...not door rattling, earth shattering bass...just some low end to fill out the music spectrum better. I also don't want a big...
