You won't have a problem with no front plate in CA unless you get a parking ticket. Then they'll add the no front plate ticket on top. And if you get pulled over doing anything obnoxious--ie where you're endangering the public like 85mph+ in a 65 or anything wreckless then they'll throw the...
You're looking at a $1500 repair minimum and hopefully you're not OCD about the color match because it won't be 100%. But you're wise about not getting insurance involved. It's a completely cosmetic situation and if insurance is involved, Carfax gets notified, and the value of the car gets...
There's something to be said for driving a slow car fast--if it's the right car. My father in law has an 84 911 Carrera and that thing is completely gutless and is just a downright chore to drive in all aspects. Loud, manual steering, terrible transmission. He paid over $90k for it and the only...
My experience what window tint on multiple vehicles is two things. The first; it absolutely does a somewhat noticeable job of blocking daytime glare/ brightness/ sunshine which makes driving *somewhat* more comfortable but there are numerous times when you think to yourself, wait I have...
Whoever did that alignment took their time and did a great job. Not only are the numbers within spec but they're extremely close left to right. I'm sure the car drives straight as an arrow.
When I had my Kooks LT's and ORX I started out with the stock axle back then went to Kooks axle back. It was legit obnoxious, like street take over level obnoxious. Reinstalled the stock axle back and I'm happy now.
I've had both a boosted Mustang and boosted Coyote F150. On my old Mustang I spent a lot of time doing the oil pump gears and crank sprocket. The F150 I decided to skip all that and sent it @ 15psi, E85. Never had a problem. I'd love to hear more data on the oil pump gear problem.
I've had Whipple kits on previous vehicles and they are as exactly as you describe. Install in the driveway or home garage in a day, and they come with a pump gas friendly handheld tuner that's very conservative. Truly set it and forget it. I put 10s of thousands of miles on my 2020 F150 with...
The 7.3 is an awesome motor when you throw a TSP cam and high rise in take on it. It responds to mods identically as an LS and the bottom end can support big power as well. But for a street car S550/S650 a boosted Coyote is still the way to go.
It wouldn't be my ideal method of pulling a car out but it should be fine as long as they didn't have a running start and yanked the wheel hard. But at the end of the day if the car doesn't pull or vibrate after they got you out, I'm sure it's fine. Only two things could happen, subframe shift...
I'm surprised all the hate for the 2018+ engine cover? I also have a Coyote swapped fox body and would absolutely love for the engine cover to be able to fit under the stock hood.
