    The only downside is that the FRP shift knob is not weighted like the original. Plus improper installation can damage the knob....use a fair amount of blue Loctite on the threads and let it cure overnight.

    Totally agree! The factory shift knob is much taller than the FRP unit. The FRP feels and shifts a lot smoother - and allows shifting with a flick of the wrist. A worthy upgrade.
